Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is basically a "Super" Granblue Fantasy Versus. That is, it is an updated package with all the characters so far, netcode via rollback and some new modes. If you liked the original, you'll appreciate this new game even more. Otherwise, since the basis is still the same, it is unlikely that your opinion will change.

85 / 100 - Jusant
Dec 12, 2023

Jusant is one of those titles to be played at your own pace, while enjoying its landscapes and enjoying every moment of its characters' journey. More than a game of climbing, Jusant is a work of friendship and awareness, set through an adventure through a desolate world full of stories to tell.

ARK: Survival Ascend is the feel of the familiar, wrapped in improvements. The implementations added to the game significantly improve the gameplay experience, in addition to a wide range of content that has been added for the console version. It's a chance for old and new players to immerse themselves in a challenging, unique survival experience whose potential is constantly evolving.

85 / 100 - Astral Ascent
Dec 9, 2023

With a combat system backed by a huge amount of possibilities for customizing your runs, memorable boss fights, and excellent pixel art, Astral Ascent is a must-have for roguelite fans.

Train Valley 2 not only maintains the strengths of its predecessor, but also brings small changes and new features that make the title even more challenging. For fans of puzzle or simulation, it's a guarantee of many hours of good gameplay.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is, at best, a mediocre base-building and environmental exploration game, but most of the time it does everything worse when compared to other similar works. Add in the disappointing combat experience, a forgettable story, and a lackluster aesthetic, and there's something here that's bad as a game, even worse as part of a universe as incredible as the one created by Tolkien.

Have a Nice Death is a challenging roguelite, but also a lot of fun. Even though its randomness can be frustrating in some cases, the huge variety of alternatives for builds and the excellent combat system are able to leave you motivated to overcome these adversities.

90 / 100 - Born of Bread
Dec 4, 2023

Born of Bread is one of the biggest surprises of the year. An RPG that is initially simple, but that captivates with each new mission and component that we encounter. In addition to the visuals strongly inspired by Paper Mario, the game brings a lightness that hasn't been found in a title of the genre for a long time. Fun, with a delightful exploration, combat that works, an excellent soundtrack and full of pop culture references, Born of Bread is a game that deserves attention and that fulfills its main objective: to entertain and, at the end of the day, leave us with a smile on our face.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin is a very worthy adaptation of this universe for games, even if it gets lost in the interface for the DualSense. The linearity and restrained scope of the adventure may bother those expecting an RTS of large proportions. But with anticipation in place, there's plenty to enjoy here.

As a complete game, The King of Fighters XIII: Global Match is exceptional and almost indefectible, but the justification of relaunching it with a remodeled online system using the best that is currently ends up proving to be a shot in the foot, with an unstable, incomplete result and full of choices, including aesthetic, questionable.

The Pale Reach is an addition that makes the game even more special for first-time sailors, who will now be able to enjoy a more varied experience. The additional content brings exciting news and is recommended for veterans as well, especially for its attractive price.

85 / 100 - Roots of Pacha
Nov 27, 2023

Even if it's still limited by trends in the genre, Roots of Pacha builds a farming simulator with its own personality by centering the theme of community in its upbeat and relaxing campaign. Unfortunately, this didn't extend to multiplayer, which is online-only and doesn't allow you to share the screen locally with the loved ones who are next to you.

Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections finally brings the entire saga of its protagonist to one game, along with a plethora of iconic characters from the franchise. Its mechanics and aesthetics, however, recycle everything that was already present in the previous games, with qualities and defects, which should please longtime fans and put off anyone else.

Dead Island 2: Haus stands out for maintaining the game's basic structure and presenting a new uncompromising story without much logic. With a short duration and little beyond the basics, it lacks enough content to warrant a return to the game.

Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn delivers a lot of extra content and manages to delve even deeper into the history of the people of Dehna and Rena, making it a must-have DLC for those who loved spending hours on end helping Alphen and his friends in the main campaign.

70 / 100 - KarmaZoo
Nov 22, 2023

KarmaZoo has a proposal that in practice only works by playing with friends. It's almost impossible to complete and have fun with randoms. In the end, it's an interesting platform game, with a unique concept, but honestly it's only worth playing with acquaintances.

Barton Lynch Pro Surfing is definitely a game made by surfers for surfers. Even if its technical part falls short of what we expect from a game these days, the gameplay is fun and represents the feeling of surfing very well.

80 / 100 - The Last Faith
Nov 20, 2023

The Last Faith enters the ambivalence of familiarity: while it delivers on its promise to blend metroidvania and soulslike competently, it never surprises or innovates. The campaign is challenging, but its good pace of shortcuts, fast travel points, and leveling up propels us to advance further and further through the melancholy world of beautifully detailed gothic pixel art.

80 / 100 - Worldless
Nov 20, 2023

Worldless stands out for its vibrant visual aesthetic and strategic challenges in turn-based battles. The abstract approach to the plot and the lack of detailed explanations can be frustrating, requiring discovery through trial and error. The experience offers intense moments, in which precise timing is crucial and which make the game challenging. Backtracking encourages exploration and solving challenges with new abilities, despite some frustrating elements regarding understanding the mechanics.
