Neptunia x Senran Kagura: Ninja Wars is a collaboration that I recommend most to those who are already familiar with both series and want to see how the characters interact with each other. For people who are still curious about the series, I recommend starting with their first titles.

Just Dance 2022 brings great evolutions in the music backgrounds and has one of the best tracklists in the franchise, being a perfect indication for those who want their first title in the series. Even with these good points, not having anything new still gives the impression that the game is just a overpriced DLC and not being able to use other motion controls on the PlayStation 5 is a disheartening point for old PS4 players that only played using the PS Move or the PS Camera.

Riders Republic delivers a fun and content-packed extreme sports experience that can keep you entertained for dozens of hours. There are a few issues that need tweaking, but at its core, the game delivers exactly what it needs.

Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi redefines the quality standard for DRPGs, especially the ones developed by Experience Inc. After learning from all the games they've developed for the last decade, there's no better starting point for players interested in the genre.

Backbone is an interactive narrative-based adventure with some underused classic point-and-click gameplay elements mixed with choice possibilities that don't always represent real cause-and-effect options, but bring in its artistic style and well-written text its best qualities.

Evertried is an addicting roguelike with a gameplay loop capable of entertaining over multiple sessions. While its duration is relatively short and the lack of story is a bit of a nuissance, it is a great experience that should be on your radar.

B.A.T.S.: Bloodsucker Anti-Terror Squad is a fun game, but extremely limited. The joke behind the concept wears out very fast, but the gameplay sustains itself through its short duration, even if there's nothing else to do after finishing the campaign.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water isn't the best game in the series, much less made for the new generation, but it's a step forward in hopes that a new version of the classic will come out to non-Nintendo consoles. If you've never played a title in the series, you might like it, but I recommend waiting for a good sale to buy it. If you're a fan, it's best to keep the good memories from the past and avoid it for now.

The Caligula Effect 2 is, for better and for worse, a title extremely similar to the original and, consequently, without major advances that could attract a new audience or those who felt disappointed by the original.

Offering more quantity than quality, Crysis Remastered Trilogy is a beautiful visual and technical work for games that have always been known for that. Despite this, much of the franchise already shows aging that can create a tiresome experience nowadays.

The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes is a game with a good narrative, but that's the only thing that keeps the title interesting. The gameplay, as well as other mechanics, could have been improved, as they are points that make all the difference in an annual series.

Horizon Chase Turbo: Senna Always is a great celebration of one of the greatest legendary drivers of all time. It has complementary content that expands (a lot) and improves what already existed before in one of the best brazilian games in history. It's a real treat for recent or longtime motorsport fans and, of course, Ayrton Senna.

Back 4 Blood has many frustrating moments with its numerous hordes and unbalanced difficulty spikes. Besides, it's quite repetitive and has a weak story. Its card system only starts to get more interesting after practically finishing the campaign at least once. In the end, Back 4 Blood is only suitable for those looking for a cooperative experience and who would overlook the points mentioned.

Guardians of the Galaxy is the closest we've had so far to translating the uncompromised fun feel of a Marvel movie into video games. It's an incredibly fun title, with great storytelling and solid gameplay that, if it doesn't revolutionize, makes every hour invested in it worth it.

Sheepo not only meets the minimum requirements expected for a metroidvania, but it is also creative in terms of plot, gameplay solutions and aesthetic elaboration. The level design lacks some pacing tricks and the controls require fine tuning, but none of that detracts from the fact that this is a charming, balanced and a very fun game.

If you already know and appreciate the work of director Hidetaka "Swery" Suehiro, there's a big chance you'll enjoy The Good Life. If you don't, there are plenty of other titles in the market that are more capable of entertaining you.

Disciples: Liberation does a lot of things well, but nothing too special. It's a fun game that can keep you entertained for dozens of hours with its challenging combat, long narrative and city-building elements, but the quality of all its elements ends up being somewhat limited.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles is far from being one of the most inventive games of the genre and brings several problems, such as the absence of game modes and content, laughable exploration and a gameplay model that doesn't appeal to everyone. Still, it's fluid, beautiful, responsive and a true aesthetic and narrative delight for fans of the franchise.

Phoenix Point is a good game, but marked by a series of issues that truly limit its quality. The technical issues make it so even the most hardcore fan has a hard time enjoying the many good ideas it has.

Tails of Iron's biggest highlight is its fun and challenging combat. The title is a pleasant surprise and one of the best indies games of the year.
