What Remains of Edith Finch proves once again how unique a storytelling in videogames can be. It's a short but incredible experience which brings out a lot of emotions. It pushes the genre forward and kind of makes the term 'walking simulator' nonsensical and meaningless. Don't deny yourself the walkthrough, you won't regret it.

8 / 10.0 - The Sexy Brutale
Apr 29, 2017

Great ingenious puzzle game with some minor flaws. Stylish, intriguing and not too easy — exactly what you can expect from a game of this sort.

7 / 10.0 - Outlast II
Apr 28, 2017

We wanted to see some development of Outlast's ideas in its sequel. Unfortunately, Red Barrels offers us almost the same experience as four years ago. In some ways the original game was even stronger. Still, Outlast 2 is a good horror, and there are a few moments which can scare you to death.

Fans of Limbo and Inside should definitely check out Little Nightmares. It's a big step forward for 2D-horrors and dark platformers, and this game will definitely inspire independent developers in the future if they decide to create something similar. Playdead's Inside raised the bar sky high, but Tarsier achieved almost similar results and brought plenty of fresh ideas to the table.

Neither strategic nor hero-oriented components of Dawn of War III are able to compete with the previous games of the series. Single story campaign for all three factions at once is chaotic, unsurprising and absolutely unable to give you any challenge. Missions are boring and monotonous. Multiplayer feels a bit better, but MOBA elements instead of complex base and army management do not fit this game well.

5 / 10.0 - Drawn To Death
Apr 15, 2017

New game from David Jaffe does have some great moments, especially when all four players on the map know what they're doing. Shame it's buried beneath jokes that are beyond bad taste, clumsy controls and horrible matchmaking.

Blackwood Crossing is a simple but touching story about important things that games still rarely tell about. This little adventure is all about loss and its adoption. There's charming music and characters, but the most important thing in such stories is quality of writing. And here Blackwood Crossing, unfortunately, does not shine. Game talks with a complicated, and at the same time overly simple language. For any fan of deep and arty games it can still become a pleasant gift, but it can also leave a feeling of slight dissatisfaction.

8 / 10.0 - Yooka Laylee

Old fashioned but not outdated adventure with cute characters and lots of fun puzzles. Unfortunately, issues with the camera prevent it from being great.

9 / 10.0 - Persona 5
Apr 7, 2017

Persona 5 is not only one of the best jRPG's in a decade, but the most polished Atlus product ever, with near perfect balance between great story and classic gameplay. Grab a vacation and be ready for hundred hours of campaign.

6 / 10.0 - Rain World
Apr 1, 2017

Incredibly difficult but nicely drawn, atmospheric and surprisingly deep platformer about long and rough journey of one small slugcat. Rain World don't really have enough mercy, the game doesn't forgive the slightest weakness or inattention, and it's rules can remain misunderstood for a very long time. To go through it, you need an iron will, perseverance and aspiration. If you've got what it takes, it could be a lot of fun.

Mass Effect: Andromeda had a potential to become the greatest sci-fi adventure of this console generation, but it feels a bit better than your average game. Andromeda definitely has some great moments, but more often it's just plain boring and frustrating.

Game's title speaks for itself. Wolves of Midgard may be rough and uncouth, but it is also a spir-ited, cocky and self-confident like true viking and as fascinating as good ballad told by a silver-tongued scald.

Not the worst FlatOut game but “4” in the title doesn't mean anything — you won't see much difference between this and FlatOut 2. But it's much better than awful FlatOut 3, although, to be honest, it wasn't that difficult to do.

Desync can give you some moments of joy. But more likely you will totally loose it and break a keyboard.

Cyanide continues to build its own dark fantasy world, step by step. And Shards of Darkness is a step in a right direction. Story is richer, gameplay is better than in its predecessor. And we only hope developers will stay on track for a few games more.

10 / 10.0 - Nier: Automata
Mar 14, 2017

One of the best PlatinumGames' releases. Engaging and unforgettable action-RPG which flawlessly blends genres and constantly surprises. It's difficult not to be amazed — even after five main endings you'll probably want to come back to this strange, crazy and unique world.

Clearest example of open world's needlessness in a game. We probably would've rate it higher if it was a linear TPS or if the map was two times smaller. But for now you need to spend too much time in your vehicle to get to something interesting or fun.

10 / 10.0 - Night in the Woods
Mar 3, 2017

Mae is a cat. Mae is a young adult back to Possum Springs, to get her childhood back and to find herself. Soulful personal story made with infinite love for those who're ready to listen, to experience it together with the narrator. For those who prefer the apple crate of books full of ghost stories that your beloved grandfather left you over the next blockbuster.

Tides of Numenera is not exactly the game we were waiting for. It tries really hard to be like Planescape: Torment, but the game is more like a prisoner of the past than its glorified return.
