There is only so much you can say about Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection before this becomes an entirely too long article. The core experience is largely the same and what you'd expect. Enemies have tricky arrangements, bosses take some learning, there are easy ways to do things and sword-based combat offers a different take for a number of situations. With so many games included, some modernization and more, it's easy to see the value in picking up this pack, though you want to be aware of the shortcomings. Graphics can be harsh, as can gameplay, but it will reward anyone able to overcome these elements.

Even though very little has changed in Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] besides the finer points, it makes for a worthwhile experience for both sides. Newcomers have plenty of offline modes to test their skills or play around and a rather robust training system that genuinely wants to help you. Returning or skilled players will likely enjoy the new character and find new possibilities with the changes. Given current owners can simply upgrade it will probably be worth it, especially if you're a fan of the franchise.
Given Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle is based on two fairly well-known games from about a decade ago, there is only so much you can say. Both remain extremely engaging and I instantly found myself remembering why I loved both of these games. Even if the story is a bit of a weak point, both titles remain extremely engaging and still better than a fair number of games that release today. The only real downside to the collection is, again, the dated look. But, at roughly $20 apiece, it's easy to justify this ride regardless of this being your first or fifth run.
In the end, Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate corrects the issue a number of fans had with the original, in one of the worst ways possible.
Despite some minor issues with the map and camera, Darksiders Genesis still felt like a proper Darksiders game even though this is technically a spinoff. The gameplay is top-notch thanks to the fact that you can play as more than one character. It might be a challenge for some gamers, although it's still fun to play if you have another person helping you out.
Despite the rather negative sounding review, Azur Lane: Crosswave isn't a bad game, it's just nothing particularly special. Fans of Neptunia will likely enjoy the silly antics of cute girls, but others will probably fail to see the appeal. It's a character-driven adventure with rudimentary gameplay and a hollow story that manages to be oddly dialogue-heavy. Beyond that, enjoyment will come down to how interested you are in upgrading your ships or figuring out why one character might be better than another. If this sounds good, odds are you'll enjoy Azur Lane: Crosswave, whereas everyone else need not apply.
While the frequency and duration of loading time in Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is painful at best, the superb writing, extraordinary voice acting, and immersive soundtrack makes this one that should not be missed. There is a reason Pillars of Eternity 2 was nominated for over a half-dozen awards in 2018, and any cRPG fan worth their weight in salt owes it to themselves to add masterpiece to their collection.
Ultimately, Zombie Army 4: Dead War is just a hoard mode game. Even if there is a story and missions, most stages ultimately turn into some version of fighting off waves of enemies.
In the end, Patapon 2 Remastered is ultimately a very divisive title. Some people will love the take on the genre and enjoy all the little things, whereas others will find it tedious and frustrating. The decent learning curve and so so explanations also don't help. That being said, if you were looking for something different, love the originals or just want to see what it is about, it's well worth giving it a try.
Fun or not, there are a lot of flaws and there are plenty of better options for those looking for mindless violence.
Scoring games like this is extremely difficult. I had fun, I legitimately did, running around the planet, shooting enemies and being a jerk to pufferbirds. It's just, had I stopped before collecting things I would've been at about five hours and even collecting things mostly added time due to issues solving puzzles. Once you start to see the mechanics, the adventure loses a lot of its charm and is just a weird world where you can shoot a complete enemies or jump to a hidden location/open a secret door. For some this is enough, but for most it's likely an extremely difficult sell.
When compared to other open-world RPGs, I cannot honestly say that DBZ: Kakarot is by any means an amazing game. However, it is certainly the best Dragon Ball Z experiences of our time.
Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training will be a welcoming experience for new and experienced players. For those that have played the games before there might not be a wave of newness. Nevertheless, the game puts you straight back into the mentality of slowly improving your brain age. The exercises can be hard, the Sudokus can be brain-burning – though there are others to relax to. Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training won't captivate players for hours on end but it has the potential to keep players coming back for their 30 minutes of brain training every day.
Overall, AO Tennis 2 feels much more fleshed out compared to the bare-bones release of the first AO Tennis game. While the gameplay and graphics have not been dramatically changed, there are far more game modes to sink your teeth into giving you more hours of gameplay to enjoy. Not to mention AO Tennis 2 is the best tennis simulator you can buy right now. Just remember to avoid 2018's Tennis World Tour at all costs!
Despite not being the franchises best, Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack is still an extremely enjoyable experience. This adventure starts with whimsy and ends in a way that brings the seemingly random stuff together. Toss in some cute enemies, multiple endings, plenty to see and do and it's easy to have fun with it. Sure, none of them really break the mold or offer much different from previous adventure but for fans or someone looking for a different kind of RPG, it's worth, if nothing else, check out.
Similar to the original Wii U version, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore remains an experience worth playing. It might not appeal to everyone but if you can get past the idol elements and some of the rough parts, it's a challenging RPG that has plenty of style and charm. Enough to warrant playing and certainly enough to keep most players invested in the long haul.
For those wanting more content, the Planet Zoo Arctic pack’s campaign levels can provide ample hours of entertainment. For those still with plenty of base game to go, unless one of the animals speaks to you, it may be best to wait a little before picking it up.
Not only is this one of the better Borderlands expansions, it does a good job of a lot of things Borderlands 3 struggled with. Not only are characters fun and the story amusing, it is a fun ride for practically anyone involved. Sure, it doesn't offer untold amounts of grinding, nor does it contain a new tier of weapon, but there is more than enough to justify the cost of entry. Between one of the highest damage weapons in the game, amusing bosses and a cute story, it's worth revisiting Borderlands 3 over.
Despite having a lot of fun with Dead End Job, it’s hard to ignore where it falls short.
