While the game has its negatives, I have enjoyed it, and I hope others will too. My experience was mostly positive, and it was definitively easier with a second person on the controls.
It doesn't have the variety of a Jackbox, but it doesn't have the same price tag either, and I'd love to see this concept expanded.
At first, the game was fun, but the frustrations and lack of polish showed through early.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is a game that many of us Pokémon fans have wanted for a long time, and although it isn't perfect, it is a step in the right direction.
If you're able to practice your martial arts, breathe in and have patience and persistence, you'll find a deep combat system, rewarding fights, and moments that make you feel like a flawless kung fu master.
OlliOlli World is an additive skater, and the "just one more" loop at attempting to best some of the games more complex challenges will be sure to hook old and new fans of the series.
For what's here, they are fantastic games that look and play even better than before; it's just a pity there isn't something more here to make the package feel like more than a timed release for the upcoming movie.
Overall, God of War on PC has improved over the PS4 release. With the added graphical fidelity and the addition of widescreen, ray tracing, and DLSS support, PC players now get to experience one of the best titles from the PS4 in even higher definition and better framerates
With beautiful art, great music and a satisfying gameplay loop, these games will have you captivated for hours as you explore every nook and cranny of the delightful world.
Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker is an experience unlike any other, and it is truly a masterpiece that lives up to the Final Fantasy legacy
Even while I got lost in the narrative's reliance on drawing from the encyclopaedic franchises' past, I got caught up in the human story between Master Chief and The Weapon. Halo Infinite features an addictive campaign that moves from one objective to the other, and muttering "I'll stop after the next mission" is almost always a lie.
Solar Ash was a bit of a mixed experience, with not all aspects meeting the high quality of its core features. The first-rate visuals and the fluid movement system do lots of heavy lifting and do still outweigh the negatives to provide a world worth exploring in a way that will be hard not to enjoy.
Captain ToonHead vs the Punks from Outer Space is a refreshing and fun change-up from the standard VR titles I have played in the past. The tower defence is the perfect kind of playground to enjoy.
There are plenty of mini-games here, and they're all fast, and most importantly, fun. There's nothing new here outside of a working online multiplayer, but for fans of the series, that's probably all that's needed anyway.
Deep down, you know if you are the audience for a game with the title DEEEER Simulator: Your Average Everyday Deer Game. It's fun for a short period, but you're quickly left with no reason to return. Although I think DLC is coming, I'm not sure when.
Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is not a perfect game; the action gameplay is dated and repetitive; the open-world seems overly ambitious at times, especially with consistent frame drops on PS5 and the learning curve to become the great detective may dissuade some players, but at its core it has a truly remarkable and insightful narrative about a young man trying to come to terms with the troubles of his youth, solving a number of grizzly murders along the way.
Riders Republic is one of the more fun things I have been looking forward to playing and relaxing with after a big day. There isn't immense pressure to win every event, and the progression happens with or without it.
All in all, Exo One is an intergalactic experience made excellent by its high-quality design on all fronts.
Battlefield 2042 has plenty of great ideas, but it feels like a package pushed out the door too early and all so that EA could place it the free-for-all that is Battlefield VS Call of Duty VS Halo for the holiday FPS favourite. Not a decision that'll be worth whatever this achieves for their bottom dollar, and DICE deserves better.
Impressive visuals and a combat system that offers a lot of experimentation are the pillars that make Bright Memory: Infinite. While still a shorter experience that most players will beat in a sitting or two, it will give the player an experience more akin to a blockbuster action movie.
