65 / 100 - The Company Man
Jun 16, 2021

The Company Man is a 2d platform game recommended. In favor we find a great artistic section with a sensational finish and an epic story that will have you sticked to the screen from start to finish. But its level design is terribly monotonous and can become tiresome at some points.

Guilty Gear Strive is an absolute example of everything that fighting games should offer as a base. Good template, good online game, good tutorials. A few more things and it would be a practically perfect game within the genre. Hopefully more like him.

Minute of Islands offers us a game of great visual beauty, with handmade drawings that impress at every step to offer us a very unique puzzle and platform game. Its plot delves into different aspects of life and makes us reflex. On the other hand, its structure can become quite repetitive and heavy at times.

Episode INTERmission is a great letter of introduction for Yuffie and the skills she will have -we assume- in episode 2 of this great project that is the remake of Final Fantasy VII. She will make a great pair with Sonon, both narratively and playably. Unfortunately, part of the expansion feels a bit of unnecessary padding, and it wouldn't be bad to let us control Yuffie's friend. Still, remarkable content that if we're fans of the Remake, we'll enjoy.

80 / 100 - Chivalry 2
Jun 11, 2021

Chivalry II is a great game. With a fun gameplay, we will really feel inside a massive medieval battle. Too bad the game modes seem scarce or that we miss more maps for the secondary modes. But even so, if it catches our attention, it is a must.

Ninja Gaiden: Master collection offers us one of the best trilogies of recent years in its most complete versions and loaded with content. Unfortunately, the presentation of the games is very poor and the way things have been done is worthy of the greatest reproach. Even so, they are games that are well worth playing and should be recommended if we are not very demanding with technical issues.

Ratchet & Clank: A rift apart becomes on its own merits one of the most solid reasons to buy a PlayStation 5 and an ideal demonstration of all the potential it holds, offering us a small taste of the future that awaits us in the coming years.

Photos of dogs that you can pet, airports taken from a lysergic dream, dialogues and situations that break your waist ... and everything to meet the other human being that still remains in the universe. The extravagant goes hand in hand with the mundane, in an adventure with a lot of walking and contemplation, and one of the most original that you will see in years.

Buccaneers isn't a bad expansion, but it doesn't add much more than what the game itself already does. The pirate-themed missions and objectives do change the feel of the game, but beyond that we won't do anything we couldn't do in the original game if we wanted to set limits. Although for the price it has, less than 4€, it can be an interesting addition.

85 / 100 - Evergate

Pecaminosa is a noir-style game with a story that captures from beginning to end despite some twists and turns, mixing numerous genres such as RPG, twin stick shooter or narrative novel. The truth is, it fails to stand out in any of them, leaving a rather unfortunate finish, this followed by a soundtrack of the lot and a technical section that is conspicuous by its absence. It makes me unable to recommend this title, which with a stronger result would be a memorable title.

85 / 100 - Edge of Eternity
Jun 8, 2021

Edge of Eternity offers us a complete open world RPG, with very good technical workmanship and visually beautiful. The story is interesting, the amount of content is overwhelming and offers several dozens of hours of gameplay. On the downside, the title's performance and some animations could be much better.

80 / 100 - BIOMUTANT
Jun 7, 2021

Biomutant, to date, we have found it to be a very enjoyable open-world role-playing game, but with aspects that can be improved, strengths and others that seem half-baked. With all this put in a balance, what we find today is a fun game that could have been better but is still worth enjoying.

Saviors of Sapphire Wings and Stranger of Sword City Revisited bring us to the Nintendo Switch a pack of two games with a very specific approach and aimed at a very specific audience. They do not invent the wheel or stand out greatly above the average of the genre but if you find yourself among the lovers of the dungeon crawler variant of the crpg, rest assured that both titles together will give you hours of fun.

Stubbs the Zombie is still what it was more than fifteen years ago, with the good and I'm afraid the bad, but also the good, which is that. A not very long story with zombie jokes, and a leading man who makes himself loved. A pity that there has not been more effort to bring back a title that even the word 'remaster' is too big for. But that retains sparkle and touch at least.

Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World offers us a great remake very striking visually in which all the material of the original game has been respected with great success. Despite that, being so inspired by the Mega Drive game does not add or subtract new content, which makes it can be a little lacking in content for a game of this generation.
