7.5 / 10.0 - Football Manager 26
Nov 5, 2025

Football Manager 26 delivers a bold reboot: a new Unity engine, revamped interface, and inclusion of women’s football all signal a major leap. The match visuals are sharper and clubs feel more alive. However, long-time fans may struggle with the unfamiliar navigation, the lighter hands-on control, and lingering odd animations. Overall it’s a promising foundation, even if it isn’t flawless yet.

A beautifully remastered version of the classic tower-defense that keeps its charm intact. With upgraded visuals, vibrant colours and two new local multiplayer modes, it’s still as fun and slick as ever. That said, it doesn’t break new ground or overhaul the gameplay, so longtime fans may find it comfortably familiar but not daring.

8.5 / 10.0 - Tormented Souls 2
Oct 29, 2025

Tormented Souls 2 boldly embraces the old-school survival-horror formula: fixed cameras, scarce ammo, difficult enemies and a heavy focus on clever puzzles. Its spooky atmosphere, varied locations and solid horror mechanics make it a win for fans of the genre, even if the tank controls and frequent back-tracking won’t be for everybody.

7.5 / 10.0 - NASCAR 25
Oct 29, 2025

NASCAR 25 delivers a serious, authentic racing experience from iRacing Studios. The career mode now begins in lower tiers and requires real effort to climb to the top, while the on-track physics and opponent behavior shine in simulation-style realism. Some of the management systems and online features feel shallow or under-developed, and the journey is more grind than spectacle — but the foundation is strong.

8.5 / 10.0 - The Outer Worlds 2
Oct 24, 2025

The Outer Worlds 2 refines and expands on everything fans loved: sharp satire, standout characters, and richer RPG systems. The upgraded combat, mobility, and freedom of approach elevate the experience. While it doesn’t reinvent the formula and a few progression hiccups persist, it remains a highly satisfying sci-fi adventure worth diving into.

8.5 / 10.0 - Persona 3 Reload
Oct 21, 2025

Persona 3 Reload on Nintendo Switch 2 remains an excellent JRPG, but it's a port that clearly illustrates the technical compromises of poor optimization. Its polished art direction, masterful soundtrack, and consistently compelling storytelling make it a memorable experience, even more than fifteen years after the original game's release. However, the limitation to 1080p and 30 FPS, combined with the absence of additional content such as The Answer or the female protagonist, prevents this version from rising to the rank of “ultimate” re-release. Nevertheless, Atlus has delivered a successful revamp that breathes new life into one of the most important chapters in the series, while allowing a new generation to discover a carefully modernized classic that can once again be played on mobile devices.

8.5 / 10.0 - Ninja Gaiden 4
Oct 20, 2025

It took no less than 13 years after Ninja Gaiden 3 for a sequel to arrive. Fortunately, this new chapter is well worth the wait. During the approximately 10 hours it will take you to complete the adventure for the first time, there will be absolutely no downtime. But there will be many deaths along the way. Thrilling and with enough variety to keep things from getting repetitive, Ninja Gaiden 4 is the kind of action game we love. Let's just hope we don't have to wait as long for the next installment. And putting Ryu front and center wouldn't be a bad thing either.

10 / 10.0 - Hades II
Oct 15, 2025

What kind of year are we having? After such incredible games as Clair Obscur, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Donkey Kong Bananza, and many others, a new contender for Game of the Year has emerged. Hades 2 represents everything a sequel should be: a story that's as solid as ever, masterful gameplay, enormous replay value, and lots of variety. Of course, the foundations for this masterpiece were already in place, but it could have been a double-edged sword. Instead, Supergiant Games surprises us with a roguelite that will leave a lasting impression. 2025, you're starting to hurt our wallets!

Pokémon Legends: Z-A shows that Game Freak benefits from stepping outside its comfort zone. The urban adventure in Illumis brings a breath of fresh air with its vertical exploration, real-time battles, and revamped Mega Evolutions. The game remains visually modest, but offers excellent fluidity on Switch 2 and generous content. While not revolutionary, it's a masterful and enjoyable evolution that gives the series a nice dose of energy and modernity. I really enjoyed the experience and am happy to see that the team has made solid improvements to enrich its Pokémon Legends spin-off series. I sincerely hope that Game Freak continues down this path, as I'm becoming more and more attracted to this formula.

7.5 / 10.0 - EA Sports FC 26
Oct 14, 2025

EA FC 26 is a good vintage, without being a masterpiece. It's an edition that exudes stability and a willingness to listen. The additions are intelligent, the gameplay is more nuanced, and the return to a more realistic pace makes offline games more interesting again. The animations have improved, Career mode is slowly getting better, and Ultimate Team mode, despite its flaws, remains addictive. For its part, the Switch 2 version confirms that EA finally seems to be taking the portability of its franchise seriously. Overall, longtime players will probably feel that there aren't enough new features. This is more of a transitional installment than a revolution.

7.5 / 10.0 - Borderlands 4
Oct 13, 2025

Borderlands 4 stays true to the spirit of the series: chaos, explosions, and loot are all there. The game successfully captures the offbeat humor and unique atmosphere that made the franchise so successful, with cooperative gameplay that is as enjoyable as ever. The side missions are varied, the endgame remains addictive, and the cel-shaded art direction is modern and very polished. Fans will quickly find their bearings, with dynamic combat and a rich and diverse arsenal to choose from.

8 / 10.0 - Silent Hill f
Oct 10, 2025

Silent Hill f is very different from other games in the series in that its gameplay focuses on combat. However, the game also succeeds in playing on psychological horror in a small town that is both beautiful and sad. It is a visually stunning game that deserves to be played a second time to appreciate all the subtleties of the storyline. It may be polarizing among fans, but it remains an excellent game.

9 / 10.0 - Ghost of Yotei
Oct 8, 2025

Without disrupting the formula that made the first game so successful, Ghost of Yōtei demonstrates Sucker Punch's maturity in its approach of refining rather than reinventing. The studio offers a more introspective adventure, carried by sumptuous art direction and a rarely matched attention to detail. Atsu's story, both intimate and visceral, stands out as a natural evolution of the theme of honor and revenge that began with Ghost of Tsushima.

We've waited a long time, but patience is a virtue, and it has rewarded us with this gem from Team Cherry. To the famous question: is the sequel better than the original? In terms of form, it's a resounding yes. The game improves on absolutely every aspect of its predecessor. In terms of content, I would tend to say that the games are equivalent. The lore of the first game was more interesting, but that doesn't mean Silksong isn't good. We get attached to the characters and always want to find out more about them. What is certain is that Team Cherry has mastered this particular genre. While there have been precursors, they are the future. And we can only hope that they will continue for a long time to come.

Dying Light: The Beast is a solid return for the franchise. It capitalizes on its historical strengths, such as fluid parkour, a thrilling day/night cycle, and brutal combat, and adds the welcome return of Kyle Crane. It's an adventure that works, that's fun to play, and that reminds us why the series made such an impression on gamers. However, its limitations are obvious. The story doesn't really take off, the secondary characters are too much in the background, the progression is simplified, and the new features are poorly exploited. The title is both a pleasant and frustrating experience. Pleasant because it's good at what it does, but frustrating because it never dares to do more.

Ultimately, it is precisely this blend of modernity and nostalgia that makes the experience so special. We rediscover sensations reminiscent of our childhood, while exploring a world that is richer and darker than it appears. Because let's be clear: despite its innocent appearance, The Edge of Allegoria is not a game for children.

Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 return on Switch and Switch 2 with improved resolution, thoughtful additions like Assist Mode, and a full soundtrack player. While the price may feel steep for remasters, these timeless platforming masterpieces remain among Mario’s most inventive adventures, offering fresh challenges for veterans and an ideal entry point for newcomers.

7.5 / 10.0 - Formula Legends
Sep 17, 2025

Formula Legends immediately captivates with its distinctive visual style and surprises with its depth of gameplay, which is much richer than expected. However, its demanding nature, rigid artificial intelligence, and collision management detract from part of the experience. Each session leaves you with the impression of having experienced a daring and innovative title, but also of having faced frustrations that could have been avoided. Nevertheless, it will certainly find its niche audience, although it would have been interesting to make it more accessible to newcomers.

Never had the chance to play this masterpiece? Jump right in without looking back. Are you a die-hard fan of the series? This is an excellent purchase. But if you fall outside of either of these categories, it might be best to wait before buying it. Yes, the game is beautiful and stays true to the original work from start to finish, which is perfect for purists. But the lack of additional content does not justify its high price tag. Despite this, we hope that sales will satisfy Konami and give us what we really want: a remake of the first Metal Gear Solid!
