7 / 10.0 - Lost in Random
Sep 13, 2021

Lost in Random just looks like a dice action game, but it's actually a great satire about luck and probability. But its slow combat tempo and movement makes it little boring.

Song of Horror feels like a complex mixture of all the cliches in horror media we can face. Those elements were put too much in the game that it fails to build its own uniqueness. And the system which could be special characteristic didn't work well that it becomes just an ordinary horror game.

7 / 10.0 - Last Stop
Jul 30, 2021

Last Stop is more like a drama than a game. Choices have little influence at game play, but its story is no less interesting than other dramas. However, 'Last Stop' is a game, not a drama. It would be better if it held narratives putting more characteristics of games.

7 / 10.0 - The Ascent
Aug 6, 2021

It's a shame "The Ascent" could be more fun game. Its structure was not interesting compared to the attractive cyberpunk world in it.

7 / 10.0 - Blightbound
Jul 28, 2021

"Blightbound" has unique visuals, well-organized dungeon design, and fun of growth. It's more fun when you play with others through 3 player co-op mode, but the party search function is incomplete.

'Mario Golf Super Rush' has simple controls so anyone can easily play this game, even the beginners can enjoy it. And it added more dynamic mode called 'Speed mode'. But it's not enough to enjoy the deep fun of golf, so it can be boring faster than your expectation.

"LACUNA" is an adventure game which has fun of choice. The story varies greatly depending on your selection, but it is regrettable that it is difficult to play multiple times because the save function is not provided when you choose your answers.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II is a work that contains the thoughts of Falcom, a famous JRPG company. However, it becomes controversial because of its shocking ending which changed user's thought that the series would be ended in this game.

Instead of jump scares, 'Wraith: The Oblivion - Afterlife' conveys fear through a story. It has a high sense of immersion. However, there are no puzzles in the game and the gameplay to hide yourself and evade from ghosts is not attractive either.

7 / 10.0 - CryoFall
May 7, 2021

Cryofall is incomplete as a survival simulation game based on space colonization. However, it has successfully embodied daily life in an undeveloped land where people compete without rules against each other for survival.

7 / 10.0 - MLB The Show 21
Apr 27, 2021

This year's best MLB simulation is The Show, but the graphic visuals without growth are disappointing. The clumsy cross between RTTS and DD feels like a signal to open the loot box. At least Stadium Creator soothes the disappointment. The new Pin-Point pitching allowed the player's skill to honestly determine the outcome of the game.

7 / 10.0 - Lust From Beyond
Mar 24, 2021

"Lust from Beyond" spreads sexual desire throughout the game and reveals it clearly, evoking fantasies about sex. However, the game is not just pornography, it shows a higher level of Cosmic Horror in Lovecraft style. The dreary, dense expression of fear and bizarre design influenced by 'HR Giger' increase the immersion level of the game. But, the movement is very stiff, like a piece of wood, and the puzzle is clumsy and uncomfortable. In addition, it is difficult to play for a long time due to even more dizzy screen transitions than 3D VR.

7 / 10.0 - Dandy Ace
Mar 30, 2021

Rogue-Lite showed freshness. Card magic without a fixed form makes the battle free. A mix of four active skills and four passive skills can create a thousand builds. However, the characteristics between the builds are not clear, so the characteristics of various builds cannot be found, and the feeling of play in the early and late stages are similar. Therefore, it was difficult to feel the joy of playing multiple times even though it was a Rogue-Lite game.

7.1 / 10.0 - Serial Cleaners
Sep 22, 2022

Showing a different approach from the existing action games, Serial Cleaners is a fun game filled with artistic visuals seem to be inspired by postmodernism and street art. However, the slow tempo compared to previous work and dumb Police AI are reducing the tension of 'infiltration'. Also, can't expect the replayability due to the lack of challenge mode.

SD Gundam Battle Alliance ensures combo-centric, spectacular battle by adding the variety of close-up actions. But, the timeframe for 'just guard' or avoidance maneuver is too short to use them well. You will be able to experience close-combat action little by little after the second half of the game, when your level slowly rises from the repetitive gameplay.

7.1 / 10.0 - Gwent: Rogue Mage
Jul 12, 2022

GWENT: Rogue Mage have mixed well the core of Gwent with Rogue-lite element. However, overall strategy aspect became slightly dull by the decision of eliminating one of the characteristic of Gwent, rounds system. despite these efforts to make the game easier, it seems the poor tutorial still keeps the beginners away from the game. It surely needs an update that suits with its purpose.

7.2 / 10.0 - Minecraft Legends
Apr 22, 2023

The Minecraft franchise continues to expand its world, offering a unique blend of action and strategy gameplay. While efforts have been made to make the genre more accessible, the repetitive and simplistic level designs can cause players to lose interest pretty quickly.

7.2 / 10.0 - Scars Above
Feb 28, 2023

A game suitable for those who loves Sci-Fi creatures. It delivers the concept of facing various life forms during an adventure throughout an unknown planet quite well. A shooting action which requires puzzle-solving brain work is also quite interesting. However, you need to endure the unnatural modeling, stiff animation and unreasonable level designs before all these charms.

7.2 / 10.0 - Steelrising
Sep 14, 2022

It is certain that the game creates an eye-catching mood by infusing 18th-century French Revolution and Automata into Souls-like gameplay. The game well supplemented its organized action and growth gimmicks for those who are not well aware of Souls-like games. However, you will eventually notice that the game is far from perfection when there are frequent frame drops, bugs and some loopholes that are hard to see in other Souls-like games.

Mario Strikers Battle League is a game faithful to the term 'easy to learn, hard to master'. Everyone can enjoy it without any concerns due to its simple controls as well as the exciting visuals are easy on the eyes. However, the lack of game modes and characters can make the game easily tiresome for those who don't fancy about sports that much.
