Where Final Fantasy VII Remake just missed some points to be a masterpiece in our eyes, the Intergrade DLC elevates quite a bit. Hopefully Square Enix will be able to keep that up, and they will be able to curb the length of the next two games. Still, we enjoyed ourselves for the most part, and the interesting and special story of the base game manages to hold us enough to get us all the way through the game.

Shredder's Revenge is therefore a game that with its many nods to the past is mainly intended for the fan and feels almost perfect for them. The game has everything from nostalgia to good, new additions. The game misses the finishing touches here and there, but the biggest problem is the chaos that arises in multiplayer and a few missed opportunities. At the bottom of the line, this is a game that is entertaining for everyone, but will not be equally special for everyone.

F1 22 can fall back on a solid foundation that Codemasters has further developed. The career modes are like a house and there is also plenty to do online. With the new options, a Grand Prix also feels a bit more realistic, especially if you put on VR glasses. So F1 22 is certainly not the revolution players might have hoped for, but for Formula 1 fans there's plenty to keep you entertained this year.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a fairly solid game. Mechanics from Fire Emblem: Three Houses integrate well with the traditional Warriors-gameplay, and the characters and setting of Fódlan remain interesting even three years after the release of Three Houses. Sadly, the gameplay can get tiresome, as you are always either fighting, or making your troops better prepared for battle. Even though there is a lot of content to discover, we frequently found ourselves wanting to put the game down for a while.

Due to this lack, The Centennial Case is therefore not recommended for the full price of 50 euros. Now it's the hypotheses that make you think before you point out a culprit, but if the puzzling around it had been just a little more exciting, then this game would have come out much stronger. All the other elements in the game are very well worked out and will not get bored for a moment. With an offer, this is therefore an absolute must for anyone who loves a good mystery.

The Quarry isn't perfect due to some technical flaws and quick time events that are too easy. Nevertheless, The Quarry is a joy to play thanks to a great story and a fantastic cast of characters. This is a must-play for everyone that enjoys a good horror story.

Eastward is a charming RPG with a colourful cast of characters, but unfortunately leaves a lot of questions left unanswered. However that doesn't mean you should skip this one, as up until the ending it is enjoyable.

Although Mario Strikers Battle League Football does come with some flaws, in the end it's a surprisingly fun multiplayer sports title. Gameplay is easy to learn, but hard to master with some nice deeper mechanics. Content wise the game falls short with only a few single player options to play through. The multiplayer aspect, on the other hand, works like a charm and delivers some classic chaotic Nintendo multiplayer fun. Mario Strikers succeeds in bringing that nostalgic fun to the Nintendo Switch.

Wonder Boy Collection is a cool collection of four games. The games are all unique for their time and thus have something to add. Although one of the games has not aged well and one other has just gotten a remake last year, the collection is still one to play. It will give you tons of hours of gameplay!

Sniper Elite is a fun game if you play in coop. Alone you will really challenge yourself, and quickly notice the game was meant to be played with a partner. It looks good, but could have been better. The x-ray shots keep on being really cool and during the nine hours the game lasts, you will not get bored easily.

If you have finished playing, you can play the game again with, for example, another ship. There are three to choose from. Although you might not be better off doing that right away, because the soundtrack is rather uplifting and intense, which is good, by the way. And it fits this type of game. Real negatives are therefore not present, except for the relatively short playing time. With an hour you can blast yourself to the credits. But hey then you are a beautiful experience richer. Thank you developer Mebius.

Puzzles are sometimes so tricky without any indication of progression that it sometimes gets frustrating, and even during dialogue, the gameplay systems work against you more often than they help you. Moreover, the game also feels very outdated in terms of animation, something that you can hardly look past while playing. If you like a deep mystery and can bite through all those pain points, give Swansong a chance. But for most people, this bloodthirsty adventure won't deliver the euphoria they had hoped for beforehand.

Apart from energy management, Dolmen does not innovate enough. The game is pretty solid, but doesn't really excel at anything. The real Souls fans will have a great time with this game, but Dolmen is not going to help the genre anywhere.

If an entirely new game were to come out starring Kaito, that would be more than welcome. Yagami and Kaito may not be Kiryu, but every Yakuza enthusiast also walks away with these games. They are two interesting characters of which many more stories may be released. It's a bit of digging into the pouch, but then you also have something. Just keep in mind that the bad guy is quickly known, unless you play with blinders on. Yet there is still plenty to do afterwards!

Each sport in Nintendo Switch Sports is enjoyable and uniquely developed. Just like its predecessors, is this a perfect game to play at parties because of the easy-to-master controls. If you're planning to play by yourself I wouldn't recommend this game, because it will feel more like a tech demo instead of an actual videogame. The new Sports Mates also lack the charming characteristics of the Mii characters, so each match will feel like you’re playing against the same boring robot over and over again.

Hotel Transylvania Scary Tale Adventures is a very entertaining game for the kids, but not as fun as the movies. The game gives you the adventures of three fairy tales but in vampire style. All three stories are funny. You will have to platform a lot and with that an annoying feature comes up: the camera which doesn't always help. Next to that the game is one to play, but we would wait until it is on sale.

The Ascent provides a vibrant, living environment for you to run around in and shoot at. The world is brimming with walking-talking NPCs and neon-filled areas. While the story isn't really that memorable, it's decent enough for you to push on to the next mission, which will lead you to diverse locations and up against different enemies. The bigger enemies can be a bit too much bullet sponges, but otherwise the gameplay and diverse possibilities are quite satisfying.

It is a pity that the game has not been given a newer jacket, because the appearance due to the graphics is now not completely up to date. But if you play long enough, the jacket secretly fits like a glove and you have a smile on your face non-stop when you play Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition and that's ultimately what counts!

Despite the battles being a bit of a letdown, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a must have for those who love plot driven games. Up until the very last moment you're still not sure of what's going on, but that's not annoying. Far from it: every single plot twist just makes it harder to put your console away.

TT Games has outdone itself by reinventing the LEGO formula to create the most complete Star Wars game in history. The mechanics have been reworked to suit both young and old players, while keeping that great LEGO humor throughout. As Ben Kenobi would say: "This is the Star Wars game people are looking for!"
