Even though an average thesis by a graduated quantum scientist is easier to understand than the story of Kingdom Hearts, I can do nothing but recommend this collection without any problems. Yes, part one and Chain of Memories feel a bit dated. Yes, Dream Drop Distance will make you swear several times. However, the other parts more than make up for that. This is the ideal way to prepare for part four. Whenever that may come.

At the moment, Flame Keeper offers too little interesting gameplay to recommend the game. This is not because the game does not contain enough bonuses, levels or enemies. The game even looks very cool and charming. It is precisely because the game basically does not know how to bring together enough interesting actions into a nice whole. The generated levels change too little and the structure of levels is the same every time. The new skills or bonuses do not change the experience much. It is very average and with the large amount of other titles in early access, the game still needs a lot of work to stand out.

Skeler Boy does interesting things. The atmosphere is great and audiovisually, in terms of style, we really have nothing to complain about. If you really fancy an atmospheric 2D horror game, Skeler Boy is the place for you, but you have to put up with the mediocre translation and dramatic controls.

XDefiant will most likely not become the absolute Call of Duty killer, but there is definitely potential to amass a nice player base. However, they must quickly come up with more balance and make obtaining XP a lot better. We will see what the future of XDefiant will look like, but the game is basically completely free so it is definitely worth trying out for yourself.

Graphically and audiovisually the game is rock solid, but in terms of gameplay and replay value it collapses considerably. The story is beautiful and intense, Iceland and Senua's journey are beautifully depicted. The serious psychological problems that Senua experiences, after a terrible amount of suffering, are also well explained. It is therefore a shame that the overall picture is a little disappointing and you are still left with some questions about the game. Of course you can think what you want, that is everyone's right, but asking fifty euros for this is a bit too much ( Xbox Game Pass is an alternative).

Bit.Trip Rerunner not only gives the original a major makeover, but turns it into a big party. It celebrates the history of the series with a lot of fun extras, 150 different levels with music from previous games and a very extensive level editor. This is not a simple remake, this is a game that the makers have put a lot of effort and love into. This makes it interesting for both fans of the original and new players who have never touched the series before. It even gives more insight into how the game was made. This is how a remake should be made!

Pool Party offers fun party gameplay that is easy to digest and playable. However, everything is very chaotic, it sometimes comes down to luck and you often experience short periods of time. The constant tutorial for each game is sometimes a bit annoying, as is the soundtrack, which is constantly the same. Graphically, the game looks colorful and fairly sleek. The customization options for the characters are also quite limited and add little extra value. Pool Party is just about worth the money for two bucks, but it certainly doesn't deliver more value for money. The game is fun for half an hour here and half an hour there, and then usually disappears again for a while. Pool Party is therefore not much more than a mediocre party game for the family.

Men of War 2 offers many hours of fun and you can unlock a huge amount of units. The game contains a large number of modes for single-player RTS players and this is a game that you can easily purchase without ever touching the multiplayer. The battles feel impactful and the direct control provides a breath of fresh air compared to many other RTS titles. It is such a shame to see that the interface, always online and the average AI mainly get in the way of the game. But in recent days the game has already received a large number of updates and I hope that the developer will continue to support the game and that the game can last another ten years without any problems.

Baladins is a very fun new twist on the choose your own adventure genre. The game looks very fun and cute and the many stories you can discover each have their own challenges. As a player you are really rewarded here for reading, discovering, talking and looking around. It also certainly helps that the story with the dragon is full of surprises and a round does not take too long. This way you can quickly play the game for fifteen minutes to see if you can make any progress. The finish is very neat and with a few small missing details here and there, there is little to complain about. I hope that we see this concept in many other themes and topics. If you like role-playing games, stories or puzzles then this is definitely a game you should play.

The depth of this modest game that not many people will probably know, ensures that The Land Beneath Us will take many hours to complete. The Relics, the weapons, the upgrades that you can then make on both, the perma-upgrades in the Lab that you can purchase and the versatility of the gameplay and platforms on which you play ensure that you can have a lot of fun with this game . After about 5 hours of playing I was only through 4 levels and then I was only halfway through. After that it becomes a bit more challenging and you will have to spend many hours again. The small details, including the chips, the quests that you can complete separately, the teleporting and the ability to even skip turns, also make the game feel very versatile.

May Akira Toriyama rest in peace. In case you are interested in his work besides Sand Land and Dragon Ball. Despite the manga being hopelessly outdated, Dr. Slump a special insight into his style of humor. Something that happened sometimes in the first few arcs of the original Dragon Ball. His self parody, Neko Majin, is also a lot of fun.

This game is what you make of it. Literal! He has his flaws, but he also knows very nice things that can keep a person occupied for hours. The price of 40 euros, without an offer, is too high and should be increased to 25 or 30 euros. The expectation that expensive expansions will come again is not really a pleasant prospect. This game is packed with details, plays quite well, but does not offer enough variety to play through everything in one go. There is good controller support, and the game also plays well on PC and Steam Deck. If you like games with a fairly brisk pace, then this is for you.

Tales of Kenzera gives the player access to a beautiful world with a colorful presentation inspired by African culture. The levels, battles and upgrades are well developed, but it all feels a bit minimal. For a player who plays few action platformers or metroidvania titles, this is a game that you can pick up without any prior knowledge. It is therefore extremely unfortunate that the controls feel less fluid at a certain point and I hope that this will be resolved in an update. The focus is on Zau's journey and the loss of an important person in your life. Unfortunately, the weight of this message is not reflected in the gameplay and that is a great loss.

Although Wartales isn't perfect, the many small details that are slowly presented to the player make for a very enjoyable experience. You can play the game in many different ways and the game promotes a lot of experimentation. The game is simple in presentation, but it manages to add enough charm. In particular, the fact that each location looks different ensures that you will not get bored quickly. The new regions and the gameplay change little to the core of the game and the challenge lies mainly in exploring, balancing and expanding your group of mercenaries. Do I have enough food? Do I have enough food to feed everyone? Do I have enough resources and medicines to survive a surprise attack? This is a game where your loyal mercenaries and the journey are what matter most, not the final destination.

With Stellar Blade, Shift Up joins a solid list of exclusives from the Playstation 5, and does so properly. Their first console game manages to impress with challenging battles, where the boss fights in particular steal the show, and a fantastic world. And although the side missions lack quite a bit of creativity, the main mission manages to keep your attention enough. Stellar Blade has everything it takes to become a hit, but should not be mentioned in the same breath as the biggest Playstation exclusives. The South Korean developer has already hinted at a sequel and once they manage to address the weak points there, it will not be long until Stellar Blade will become one of the most important games for Playstation.

It's great that the tennis genre is being revived by 2K. It seems like a new addition to the studio's already quite extensive portfolio. In terms of atmosphere and game modes, there is still some room for improvement in the coming years because besides the MyCareer mode, there is not much to do in the game and even the MyCareer is far from varied. Online it feels much the same as offline and you can of course use 2 controllers/players offline. The gameplay, however, manages to keep the game afloat and matches really feel great to play. The timing mechanism and advanced game mechanics ensure that you can make it as easy or difficult as possible, which in turn influences the level of realism. I had a great time with this new game and it seems to be the stepping stone for more and better games in this franchise every year. However, the launch of this new tennis game has not yet been a very successful one. However, do you like tennis games and are you satisfied with good gameplay? Then this is basically the best tennis game on the court.

Dragon's Dogma 2 almost passed with honors, but misses the mark with unnecessary and superfluous in-game items for real money. Graphically the game is usually beautiful, but there is still some work to be done here, just like with the sound and some controls? Is it a cult classic or not? I don't dare say that yet, but the game does a lot right, but also a number of things not. Time will tell whether Capcom will address the concerns that have been going back and forth across the web or not. Does the game have a decent replay value? Strangely enough, there is always something to discover and, as with other open world games, new things are discovered by gamers years and sometimes hundreds of hours later.

Children of the Sun is like a summer Saturday in April. Short, powerful and nice to experience in between. For anyone who likes puzzle games and wants something new, this is an excellent game to at least try.

Theoretically, Let's! Revolution! very little content. You play 10 levels and defeat the King who keeps tracking you down the levels before, and that's it. However, the characters and skills you unlock provide the challenge. In addition, you can increase the difficulty level to give you a little more challenge, without making the game really difficult. The visual representation of the game and the gameplay options and tactics you use take this game to a high level. Although a run feels conceptually the same, the skills still give the game an extra dimension, so you will soon be playing for dozens of hours. Let's! Revolution! This makes it a surprising game in my portfolio, which I really enjoyed and which also manages to live up to expectations on the console.

Pepper Grinder may be a bit on the short side. However, just like Mega Man Purely to perfect every level. It's a short and powerful platformer with a lot of spice and a focus on quality instead of quantity. In a time where games are getting longer and longer, we can welcome this.
