Tales of Eternia Remastered is (almost) everything a fan of the franchise could ask for. One of the best games in the series now comes with all the content that was missing from the English versions on PS1 and PSP, a newly retranslated script, and new voice acting. The skits, which are so important to the franchise's identity, are finally here. All of this comes in a highly customizable package, with new difficulty settings and quality-of-life improvements.

Toy Story 3 Complete Edition proves that the 2010 game still has plenty to offer beyond nostalgia. The campaign remains lighthearted and fun, while Toy Box continues to be the main highlight, offering freedom, missions, and customization options that have aged surprisingly well. On PS5, the sharp image quality, solid performance, and inclusion of Portuguese-language menus and voice acting make this the most complete and accessible way to revisit the adventure. The game's age shows in some of its animations and simpler design elements, but that isn't enough to overshadow just how well it still holds up.

Toy Story: Retro Roundup! is a collection designed for those who want to revisit an important era of Pixar games without losing sight of what these titles originally were. The excellent presentation, various display modes, and features such as Rewind make revisiting these games much more comfortable on PS5, while the historical bonus content highlights the care taken with game preservation. Not all the games have aged equally well, and the lack of Portuguese-language support in the original titles may discourage younger players. Still, for fans of Toy Story and classic video games, this is a thoughtfully curated trip down memory lane.

Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is, in large part, the revival of the franchise I had always hoped for. Introducing many fresh ideas and advancing the series' legacy—without being tethered to the past or merely copying what came before—the new title features masterful level design and delivers a highly competent Metroidvania experience on all fronts, even if a few details stray slightly from the core Castlevania formula.

Ace Combat 8 is absolutely stunning. Even knowing the franchise's history and how talented the team at Project Aces is when it comes to making flight combat games, I don't think anyone expected something THIS good. Responsive controls, masterful mission design, flawless audiovisual presentation, and a multiplayer mode that feels like a complete game in its own right. Wings of Theve tells the legendary story of an ace pilot who single-handedly carries an entire nation on his shoulders, but the truth is, Bandai Namco is the one carrying the entire aerial combat genre on its shoulders. This tradition began back on the original PlayStation, and it's wonderful to see that it's still alive and thriving to this day.

KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I–III] is an extremely comprehensive compilation that works very well both as an entry point for new players and as a way for longtime fans to revisit the franchise, with visual improvements, higher resolution, better performance, and faster loading times, as well as the inclusion of all the content needed to follow the story. Although some content is presented in the form of movies or compilations of cutscenes, the collection delivers an excellent experience overall.

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising makes all the right decisions, establishing itself as an excellent fighting game and a great entry point into the Granblue Fantasy franchise, especially with its recently released Legendary Edition, which includes all content released for the game so far. It is accessible enough for newcomers to the genre, while offering enough depth for players who want to test their skills in a more competitive environment.

Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave succeeds by combining the franchise’s traditional tactical combat with four interconnected stories that come together in a very interesting way. The ability to switch between protagonists makes the campaign feel more dynamic, while the variety of characters and situations keeps the experience engaging.

9.5 / 10.0 - Control Resonant
Oct 1, 2026

CONTROL Resonant stays true to Remedy’s essence of never being afraid to take risks, completely changing the franchise’s formula to deliver one of the most creative games in recent years. It stands out thanks to an inspiring narrative, unique art direction, and movement mechanics that are completely outside the box. Unfortunately, the combat mechanics leave a little to be desired, but they in no way overshadow the brilliance of its storytelling and immersion.

Two Point Hospital: Full Health Collection is the most complete version of a management game that remains incredibly fun even years after its original release. The repetition and some dated systems keep the package from feeling entirely fresh, but the huge amount of content, the humor, and its excellent management foundation make this one of the best entry points into the series and a great option for anyone looking for a game capable of consuming dozens or even hundreds of hours.

Silent Hill: Townfall excels at delivering a tense and frightening experience, with creative ideas that deviate from the franchise's standard, but it falters somewhat by underutilizing the narrative and visual potential of the franchise.

Marvel's Wolverine could have been the masterful first chapter of a new mutant universe in gaming, but it stumbles with a story filled with questionable decisions and gameplay issues that reduce what could have been one of the best games of the generation to just another forgettable game based on the creations of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

7.5 / 10.0 - Halloween
Sep 21, 2026

Halloween: The Game is a much smarter adaptation than simply relying on Michael Myers’ iconic image. It understands the horror of the original film, transforms many of its ideas into gameplay mechanics, and manages to establish its own identity within the asymmetrical horror genre. It lacks polish and relies too heavily on multiplayer, but there is a very solid foundation here and, most importantly, an adaptation made by people who seem to understand why Michael Myers remains terrifying nearly fifty years later.

It’s hard not to be happy about Torneko's Mystery Dungeon finally becoming available to play on modern platforms. After all, the game is a major historical milestone for both the Dragon Quest franchise and the Mystery Dungeon series as a whole. However, when judged purely as a video game, the adventure clearly shows its age, and this “Classic HD” version could have done more to modernize the experience and attract new fans. It’s an excellent choice for a very specific audience. If you’re part of that audience, you can jump in without hesitation. Otherwise, you’re probably better off sticking with more recent entries in the franchise.

7.8 / 10.0 - Another Eden Begins
Sep 16, 2026

Another Eden Begins is a solid JRPG that manages to deliver an engaging story, beautiful environments, and simple systems that work well, even without offering much depth. Exploration is fairly straightforward, and the combat features some interesting ideas, especially with the Chain Skill system, while progression ends up being more engaging through equipment than through the skill trees. Its mobile origins still leave some noticeable marks on the experience, but overall, the game delivers an enjoyable and well-crafted adventure for fans of traditional Japanese RPGs.

Marsupilami 2: Salsa Palombia is a very fun game and a great option for fans of platformers. With enjoyable gameplay and an attractive price, the title delivers a lighthearted and entertaining experience. The graphics are simple, and the soundtrack isn’t particularly captivating, but these aspects don’t detract from the overall experience.

Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters is a game that stands out for its fun factor, with major improvements to both gameplay and graphics. However, it falls short precisely where it shouldn’t: the absence of a truly engaging story mode. Even so, it is still a game worth checking out for anyone looking a fun experience to enjoy with friends.
