The Quintessential Quintuplets – Memories of a Quintessential Summer is a curious combination of routine sim and visual novel that makes a lot of sense for the manga universe it's based on. Despite being relatively basic and having a translation that could use some fixes, here we get all the charm of Negi Haruba's work for the fans.

Hades is a fun and addictive game, which deserves your appreciation. I also understand that it is not for everyone, due to the rogue-like nature of the game, there are people who prefer something more linear and adventurous, with a bigger focus on narrative, or even those who did not get along with the camera angle. It is indeed a difficult game, that challenges you to overcome yourself, hoping that you will learn with your failures and improve.

Ultimately, Atelier Totori is a captivating adventure full of characters with pure charisma. It may not be perfect as a JRPG, but it's far from a subpar experience. I guarantee that if you liked Atelier Rorona, it will be very difficult to hate this. Furthermore, for what it sets out to be, it still fulfills its role of being a game designed to be a relaxed experience that keeps the Atelier formula intact so that it can continue to improve itselft further.

Endless Ocean Luminous is a game to de-stress, explore and learn. The scope is small and the approach is contemplative, designed for the player that loves to collect. So don't expect anything more than that.

Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution continues to maintain the characteristics that make Compile Heart's classic series so special, even though it hasn't yet reached the level of technical polish to achieve the excellence that the franchise deserves.

Horrific Xanatorium is a short visual novel that knows how to use its devices very well to tell an engaging story. Despite its length, the game still manages to deliver well-developed and relatable characters that certainly help make the experience worthwhile.

That said, Rainbow Cotton is visually a very pleasing game. The alternate route mechanics are interesting and even the changes to the game interface were welcome. It is even possible to play a retro version that emulates the SEGA Dreamcast original experience. However, the biggest failure here was what is essential in a game: fun.

Just like its predecessor, Class of Heroes 2G: Remaster Edition is worth it for hardcore gamers used to the genre or newcomers unafraid of suffering with presentation inconveniences that should have more polish. Though there are more inviting entry points, this is a good example of what a classic dungeon RPG has to offer.

The final balance is: Atelier Rorona ~The Alchemist of Arland~ DX is a genuinely passionate and relaxed adventure, heavily supported by its cozy game bias, more than that, the game has a cheerful and truly captivating cast, as well as a very pleasant character design with delicate features provided by Mell Kishida. If you have become a big fan of Atelier through the Ryza series and want to expand your knowledge of the franchise, as long as you don't have a weak stomach for old games and their limitations, I highly recommend jumping into Atelier Rorona. You will certainly find something special here, trust me!

El Shaddai ASCENSION OF THE METATRON HD Remaster is an artistically inspired platformer and it deserves its status as a classic. Alternating between 2D and 3D stages and playing with the gamer's perspective with its aesthetic efects, this work is a great addition to the Switch.

In summary, Jorel's Brother and the Most Important Game in the Galaxy! is a short and very fun game, just like an episode of the original cartoon, but without the striking sound, which certainly wasn't a disappointment, but I don't think it managed to meet almost all my expectations, even with some pleasant surprises.

Hashihime of the Old Book Town Append is undoubtedly a hidden gem among the catalog of visual novels available on the Nintendo Switch. The work certainly lives up to its appeal, making it a title worthy of a chance for lovers of a good time travel story, mystery or romance.

Class of Heroes: Anniversary Edition is a dungeon crawling RPG that will definitely please hardcore gamers with its high challenge elements. However, this is a game with limitations that will not please a vaster group of players. For those, works such as Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection, Labyrinth of Refrain, Labyrinth of Galleria or even Undernauts: Labyrinth of Yomi are more inviting entry points.

SaGa Emerald Beyond is an interesting option for newcomers and veterans of the SaGa franchise or anyone who enjoys JRPGs and is looking for something new in the genre. Its highlight is definitely its gameplay, which offers a vast customization system and a lot of mechanics that interconnect to offer something that encourages the player's creativity and strategy in each duel.

I had high hope for Eiyuden Chronicle ever since its Kickstarter in 2020. And yes, while the game genuinely feels like a love letter to both JRPG fans, and especially fans of the Suikoden franchise, it was not designed for the Nintendo Switch, and it shows. The various performance drops and long loading screens keep it from being the perfect experience, leaving me probably recommending that you do not get it on the Nintendo Switch.

At the end of the day, Moonglow Bay falls into a monotonous gameplay loop that doesn't seem to try very hard to make it interesting. This negative aspect could easily be fixed if the game set out to have a shorter length, it's certainly not a game capable of sustaining itself for many hours like other titles in the genre.

As a spin-off of GV, PuzzMix is one of the weakest and most uninspired, trying to be similar to the game on which it is based by bringing as few ideas as possible for whatever reason. Even Suika Game, a less ambitious experience, still took the opportunity to launch a paid expansion that brought multiplayer and other typical modes, such as Time Attack and Time Limit — something that could be in PuzzMix as a way of generating an advantage over its rival.

This collection fulfills its humble role of being fun and simple, taking me back to an era where I spent hours on sites playing flash games having fun in an unpretentious way, without analyzing gameplay, graphics, soundtrack and all that stuff.

Felix the Cat is a modest but charming platformer. The rerelease, which includes both the NES and GB editions, is simple, but well-handled. It particularly adds features that considerably improve the experience quality of life, but it's only the basic for old game ports.

In addition to the most basic messages about the scarcity of the natural world, exaggerated dependence on non-renewable energy sources, and lack of harmony with natural life, TERRA MEMORIA is a journey of self-discovery and getting to know a world for each of these characters and for us. I really got to immerse myself in a nice, cozy adventure and I got to enjoy the journey with each of these friends I made.
