Parasol Stars: The Story Of Bubble Bobble III is aimed at those who value fun gameplay without having to spend hours on builds or lore that is already over a decade old. Play alone or in local co-op and challenge yourself, as the game doesn't hold your hand to explain anything, as it was in the past.

There is a certain potential in SPYxANYA: Operation Memories, both because of the intellectual property on which it's based and because of the gameplay premise. However, what ended up being delivered was a game that apparently doesn't know its own limitations very well and didn't know how to take advantage of the good ideas and concepts that make up the gameplay premise of the game.

About the fact that Luigi’s Mansion 2 is still a port of a Nintendo 3DS game, I personally don’t see any problems with that. The scenarios, of course, show some signs of their origin, but the remastering — if we can call it that — and the sharp art direction created a feeling that this game almost couldn't be made any other way, The controls were perfectly adapted for the Nintendo Switch and a great strength ends up being its structure, because even though the console is also a portable, few games are made considering this as a priority. Of course, most games these days you save wherever you want, and it's virtually possible to pause any game anywhere using the Home menu. With that said, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD’s level structure is perfect for playing on the go.

Trails through Daybreak is a pleasant surprise that the Trails franchise needed. The game is a breath of life, bringing significant changes to its gameplay and presenting a narrative that seeks to bring a different perspective to what we expected and that focuses much more on the future without needing to look so much at its past. This is one of the best entry titles in the series and ideal if you want to try a more modern Trails.

If you are looking for a game with a cool narrative that will provide you with hours of fun, whether in the campaign or online, go for it without fear. However, not everything is perfect. I suffered from crashes after resuming my game after leaving it on standby. Although there were few of these occasions, I think it is important to mention them. If these small inconveniences are not that relevant to you, reader, the united world government needs you on the battle line against the Draktor threat. Yes, there are giant robots from classic series in the game, I won't give spoilers, you'll be surprised. Good fun!

Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition highlights Ubisoft's disregard for this franchise. It feels as if this edition was released just to "shut up" fans, with no real interest in providing an improved experience or continuing the series with Beyond Good & Evil 2. The lack of voice acting, sound mixing issues, poor optimization and persistent bugs show a lack of care and commitment to the game's legacy.

Dicefolk offers a unique experience with its dice mechanics and distinct cultural flair, but it fails to leave a lasting impact. The inconsistent creature design and lack of emotional depth due to the questionable combination of Monster Collector and roguelite hurt the experience. In the end, the title is interesting, but it won't stick in your memory.

Fruit Mountain tries to subvert this “new” game genre through visual presentation, but that's it. The same experience you have with Suika Game or some other more contained derivative, you will have in this one too. Maybe I was expecting some “sub-elements”, but I promise that my expectations are perfectly aligned and that it is still a very competent game for what it proposes.

To experience Monster Hunter Stories again after years made me realize that time was generous and preserved the experience very well. Despite being unable to cover up the frustrations of a problematic, sometimes monotonous, pace, the remaster justifies its existence on current platforms and keeps the spin-off on the podium of the best monster collecting games, and can serve as a great appetizer until the arrival of Monster Hunter Wilds in 2025.

FIRESIDE is very good at being a casual experience, making the player relax while helping people, with a small and very well-structured worldbuilding, as well as very good and well-written characters that fulfill their narrative function. Small pacing issues and somewhat generic secondary NPCs get in the way, however, far from being an obstacle that overshadows the strengths of this cozy game.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble finally marks the return that Super Monkey Ball so desperately needed! A natural evolution of what Super Monkey Ball 1, 2 and Deluxe presented almost 20 years ago, which renews the series with some redesigns and adds new mechanics that will make returning to the old games a weird experience.

Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-sparked! it's a reminder of a different time for Konami. Three short challenging adventures, with a very different protagonist than expected and with gameplay that is not afraid to change and challenge players in new ways. For those who played these titles on their original platforms or like old games, Sparkster's adventures are a good purchase to have fun over a weekend.

Radiant Tale -Fanfare- can be described in a single sentence: A game that promised a lot in theory, but in practice, it ended being a fandisk that practically suffers in its executions. There's barely any content compared to the amount it promised, and the translation suffers from inconsistent terminologies that also plagued the original.

Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge isn't a bad game, it's a disappointing one.It tries to be just another relaxing field management title, however, it ends up committing the same sins as others, and doesn't innovate enough to justify its own existence. It's not the first to use frogs, and it certainly won't be the last.

The remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door brings a freshness to what was already one of the best Mario's spin-off experiences. It's an impeccable recreation that maintains all the charm and charisma that the original had, but now with completely reinvigorated visuals and music.

In summary, Atelier Meruru ~The Apprentice of Arland~, is an honorable conclusion to a passionate trilogy that arose from the idea of renewal. It presents some successes, but also persists in past mistakes; however, in the end, I just felt completely enveloped by all its charm and now I feel like I need an everyday atmosphere more than an odyssey.

Cupid Parasite -Sweet & Spicy Darling.- manages to do exactly what it should: expanding the original narrative and giving us another taste of this rich universe by Ririka Yoshimura under Fumie Tatematsu's direction. It's an easy recommendation for those who have already played the original and both titles are excellent examples of quality works in the genre.

Despite the criticism, I have to admit: the game delivers what it promises. It's a light and fun experience for those who love kittens. So, answering my question at the beginning of the text, it is a well-intentioned cuteness that results in a fun experience. Don't expect the game to blow your mind with well-designed puzzles and platform challenges, but I think it's an interesting “break” between more intense games to enjoy something less ambitious.

The Quintessential Quintuplets – Five Memories Spent With You is a perfect alternative for diehard fans of Negi Haruba's work who would like to see what would happen in an alternative ending or who would like a little more time with the protagonist and the girl he chose among the quintuplets. The English translation deserved a better revision, but overall this is a very fun visual novel and it knows how to explore all the charm of its characters.

1000xRESIST has many layers, its peculiarities and the variety of genres it explores makes it difficult to classify it and put it in a specific box. Some might interpret it as an adventure, a walking simulator or even a visual novel. But at the end of the day, what remains is a unique narrative experience in one of the best-written games of the generation.
