Assassin's Creed: Black Flag Resynced
This a pretty “by the book” remaster….. but in a good way! Obviously as everyone talksd about at release… visuals are gorgeous. It’s such a night and day difference when comparing the textures, character models, shadows, and literally everything else graphical wise. They knocked it out of the park on this

Silent Hill f
Great game. This doesn’t eclipse the perfection of SH2 remake, but still a memorable experience that has the same amazing aspects of SH2. One thing that I actually love more than SH2 remake is the visuals. The addition of color with the “Silent Hill Fog” blends beautifully with the industrial town

Hogwarts Legacy
For the first actual legit non-movie Harry Potter game, this was an amazing first start. There’s so much content in here that you can really dump 100+ hours in this, and you wouldn’t get bored. The variety of activities, quests, and locations in and outside of Hogwarts is mind blowing.

Alan Wake 2
Probably has one of the best linear narratives of any horror game I’ve played, even if it’s confusing sometimes. If you combined the combat of control with the story telling of AW2, you probably have a GOTY on your hands. However, AW2 is lacking the engaging gameplay that I would

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance
Beautiful art style and addicting combat keeps you playing until the end. Adding more combat abilities and trimming down the platforming would've really made this shine above the other 2d action games that have popped up this year. But for a reboot of a long dormant franchise, this is a

Super Mario Bros. Wonder
A refreshing mario game that is more charm than depth. The new artstyle and redesigned soundtrack more than make up for the lack of challenge and disappointing abilities. The level design is definitely leaps and bounds better than previous games, as that's where the game design really shines. It doesn't

Is This Seat Taken?
Such a relaxing, chill puzzle game with a nice little positive story tied with it. Definitely would like to see a sequel that has a bit more variety in its level design/settings, but with how short it is, it wasn't a huge deal.

Rematch
Great core gameplay that's a bit flawed, but very addicting. This game should get better with time as a live service (Hopefully).

Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping
Better gameplay/design than its predecessor, but the story was slightly less enjoyable. Still loved this game and will definitely play the sequel.

Duck Detective: The Secret Salami
Such a cute fun detective game. Doesn't hold your hand but I never felt completely lost on what to do next. The story and artwork gives off "Saturday morning Cartoon" vibes, but it's really a game for all ages. Probably one of the funniest games i've played in a long

Crypt Custodian
Very cute metroidvania game. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to start playing these types of games. Story is great too.

Crime Scene Cleaner
A great cozy simulator game that has more depth and variety than other games in the genre. I wanted more from the story, the ending felt abrupt and unexpected, and the Xbox controls can be frustrating sometimes. But a really strong first game, and I can't wait for a sequel. 8/10

Pokémon Legends: Arceus
I'm so happy they tried something new with the franchise that still kept the core gameplay of catching and battling. It definitely has its flaws (Boring/Dragged Out Main Story, bleh graphics in an open world that feels lifeless sometimes, repetitive mission design with the main story,) but it's a really

Overboard!
Such a fun game that doesn't get enough credit for its innovation in storytelling and gameplay. It's like a roguelite Telltale title with delightful 2D artstyle. Gets a bit repetitive when you're trying to complete the later objectives, but the game is short enough that you don't get tired of

Black Mesa
Even though the original was made 30 years ago (And Black Mesa came out 10 years ago), this still holds up as a solid first person shooter. It's not perfect imo (Pacing issues, lack of direct storytelling, and janky shooting mechanics), but what it does well is done REALLY WELL

Ninja Gaiden 2 Black
You can tell this game has aged a bit with it's bad camera work, awkward parkour system, and underwhelming weapon upgrade/level up system. However, the core gameplay loop is so incredibly addicting that they kept me playing through to the end. And the graphics are really nice too, you can

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster
I feel like this remaster fell WAY under the radar. I didn’t even know this existed until about a month ago! I feel like they struck a nice balance of keeping true to the original and also making this still a beginner entry to the series for newcomers. I think this

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
I wasn’t a huge fan of this, and might’ve been due to my high expectations going into it. I was expecting a phantom pain like experience, but I was mistaken to expect that. This has a lot of really cool ideas incorporating survival mechanics into an action adventure game, but

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Very underrated campaign. It’s wild to play a Cod Campaign that actually tries to give you a full package variety of missions, story, and actually takes risks! Some of them don’t pay off, but you can tell they really put their effort into going all in on the space COD
