Rollercoaster Tycoon Adventures is somewhat of an underwhelming game. While a younger player could find potentially some fun in building attractions and coasters, it will feel absolutely flat for most.

At the end of day, there is not much to Cutie Pets Pick Berries. The style is silly, but there is no substance to give it any weight. It is entertaining for a little bit, but after that, the game offers nothing to compel the people who foolishly purchased it. That is the saddest part about it.

5 / 10.0 - Claws of Furry

As you continue to play, the cracks start to show once again. Bad enemy AI isn't an unusual occurrence in a game that prides itself on being a strong beat 'em up outing. It all just stings a little.

5 / 10.0 - Heart&Slash
Jan 5, 2018

The first number of rounds that wasted my time, the multiple crashes and camera problems are just too big to overlook. It is such a shame, because the arsenal and action feels so grand. Maybe in time, and with an update, Heart&Slash is something I could adore.

5 / 10.0 - Coffin Dodgers

This doesn't excuse rough controls, aggressive AI, and the massive grind mind you. There is so much you need to take for granted, which makes it really hard to recommend. That is a shame, considering the premise behind it is super goofy.

The story is awful, the progression is inconsistent and the game is way too short to even consider it right now. With more polish and a longer development cycle, Shattered Crystal could have been very enjoyable. Now it is just what it wants to be: An okayish tie-in to a new Sonic cartoon.

5 / 10.0 - Shadow Puppeteer

The game was clearly not optimized for the system and some additional polish could have gone a long way. Next to that, it is just a really short game that I can only recommend in co-op. If you do decide to take the plunge, you can't go wrong with the puzzles and story, but you will have to put up with a lot to truly enjoy yourself.

At the end of the day, it didn’t really wow me at all. Horse Racing and Football were at least neat and I played them the most of the five sports. Outside of those, there was barely any real drive here to get them all checked off and finished.

The presentation and story are fun, but the rest really doesn't stand out much. All in all, there are better offerings out there that give you more consistent quality. The puzzle-platformer genre is deep, but Toby is nowhere close to that.

Cafeteria Nipponica is just fine. The game was able to pull me in multiple times, but also created way more dead air than I was good with. It does some unique things like improving recipes and concerning yourself with customers directly, but it follows that familiar template that Kairosoft managed to create.

6 / 10.0 - Homo Machina

Homo Machina is a one trick pony, but one that has been tremendously cared for.

The story is take it or leave it and Warriors Orochi 4 isn't too welcoming to newcomers in general. If you are a fan of the Orochi games and have a need for this on the go, I guess the Nintendo Switch is the only way you can go. However, in every other instance, there would be other versions of the same game I would recommend more.

Its lasting appeal is very limited and I fell out of it after a while. The simple look and similarities between the different modes caused my friends to get bored quickly. I really can't see this being the creator's true intentions.

That product, mind you, isn't anything majorly exciting and would have benefitted from a bit more content. It's interesting playing an animated version, and if you are in for the commitment you can have a decent time. That being said, there are plenty of party games on the Switch that offer more instant fun.

6 / 10.0 - Olympia Rising

There are very enjoyable gameplay aspects, but your main weapon will give you a lot of frustration. Add to that the leaps of faith and the underwhelming selection of bosses, and you just have a mixed bag. A mixed bag that will a bring a smile now and again, but that is about it.

6 / 10.0 - Asdivine Hearts
May 10, 2016

At the end of the day though, I found Asdivine Hearts more or less okay. It does what it says on the tin and the game is competent enough to give it a go. There is nothing really outstanding about the game. The battle system and interactions are certainly fun, but I am unsure if most will be willing to sit through 20+ hours.

6 / 10.0 - Inside My Radio
Mar 7, 2016

Before you are at the point of fully grasping everything, the adventure is already over (minus the Time Attack you unlock thereafter). I don't even remember the story that the game was trying to tell, as it was largely glossed over during its brief run. Inside My Radio is decent enough in its own right, but with more time in the oven, it could have been something greater.

6 / 10.0 - Infinity Runner
Apr 6, 2016

The bigger issues, which you will find in the game's presentation, can be less excused. Framerate dips and out of sync audio provide more problems than the game can chew. At the end of the day, I liked Infinity Runner enough to play through it, but that is about it.

Some of these problems fade away in multiplayer, which makes it such a missed opportunity to make that aspect a bigger focus. Snack World isn't a bad game, but it's somewhat misguided in how it wants to present itself. If you can deal with the frustration, you will find that the dungeons themselves can be fairly entertaining.

Once it is all over though, you won't really feel a desire to return. The experience is an uneven one, but it balances just enough on the right side.
