Kathy Rain is a delightful little adventure game to add to the massive pile of fun adventure games released in the last couple of months. The puzzles are believable and interesting with some really clever computer hacking ones in there. The story is compelling and entertaining, and the characters are mostly wonderful – in particular the lead girls, Kathy and Eileen (I love you Eileen!).
While the idea of a Telltale miniseries is a welcome and novel one The Walking Dead: Michonne suffers because there’s already too much Walking Dead in the world, and also the invulnerability of Michonne means you never worry about her the same way you did Lee or Clementine. Nevertheless the story has some good shocking moments, the Silent Hill-like hallucinations add some much-needed spice, and there are some interesting choices despite Telltale not really going far enough with them. It’s a welcome diversion for sure, but let’s hope Telltale have something more imaginative for their next miniseries.
We can’t remember the last time a game disappointed us so much. Petroglyph are a gifted RTS developer filled with industry veterans, and their last title Grey Goo was superb. 8-Bit Armies though is not.
Banner Saga 2 may be just the next part of Stoic's ongoing tale but basically everything has been improved.

XCOM 2 is everything a sequel should be, keeping the things that everyone loved about the first game while changing things up as much as possible.
Just don't call it "Army Men"
Nevertheless it can't be denied that Battlefront is quite simply a fun multiplayer game that utilises the license very well. And in the four years since Kinect Star Wars that's all I ever wanted.
The final episode of Telltale's Game of Thrones story is the strongest since the first, with everything coming to a head, all your terrible choices coming back to haunt you, and a few major excruciating ones left to finish things off. However the lack of any real resolution robs the season of feeling like a complete game. Moreover it still shares a lot of the weaknesses of the season as a whole, including the now decidedly unimpressive game engine and the absence of any witty character conversations (that are the hallmark of the show and books). Telltale still tell a good tale, but I think Game of Thrones will go down as the moment they bit off more than they can chew - or at least a licence they can't quite replicate. Still, cracking final episode chums.
Fallout 4 is an amazing game that I doubt anyone will be disappointed by, but it's not unique. And I still prefer New Vegas.
The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone may skirt the line between DLC and Expansion Pack by merely adding more of what was already in Wild Hunt, but gets away with it by being sizeable and awesome. The story, quests, characters, choices, twists, gameplay and wild adventures on offer are well worth the extra money, and the return of Shani is a neat bonus for fans who have been with the series since the first game. If you're not completely sick of The Witcher 3 then it's well worth getting Hearts of Stone since the content here is some of the best and most memorable in the entire series.
Arkham Knight isn't perfect, and it's not messing with our Game of the Year awards after all, but it's still a very enjoyable Batman game - and at the end of the day, as night falls, isn't that the main thing?.
Wait and hope for some major patches for now, but even then Armikrog still won't feel actually finished. Shame.
Nevertheless for this Dragon Age fan Trespasser was a hugely satisfying end to Inquisition, and the final choice alone will have huge ramifications. Roll on Dragon Age 4.
