RemiLore is a game that tries to do a lot with a few simple instruments and it does a decent job at that, especially when it comes to its looks. Unfortunately its combat system does not hold on for very long and its levels quickly turn out to be rather dull and repetitive, which will put off those looking for a more involving experience.

Little Dragons Café has the advantage of a more free structure, without the pressure of having to fulfil objectives at a certain moment and its open world adds up to its qualities. However this is not correctly used to deliver a fun, enjoyable experience, as the game gets repetitive too quickly and the free nature of its structure becomes void of a sense of direction, leaving the player without a proper guidance.

Atelier Rorona is an RPG that does not necessarily follow the footsteps of its most famous peers but it's certainly not forced to in order to deliver a fun, entertaining and enjoyable experience. Thanks to its emphasis on a system that allows the creation and concoction of new items, this game demonstrates it's not necessary to have an epic and overwhelming story to deliver an interesting and compelling RPG.

Moonfall Ultimate is a 2D hack and slash that draws inspiration from a wide variety of games, including several not necessarily of its genre. Unfortunately it doesn't manage to reach an even remotely comparable level to any of them, and despite a decent plot, Moonfall Ultimate has very little to go for it when it comes to gameplay mechanics, combat experience and overall involvement of the player.

Blade Strangers may not look like the most obvious crossover when it features characters from series that few would ever imagine starring in the same game but life is full of surprises and this fighting experience not only brings a varied cast, it also has some very simple gameplay and control mechanics that make the game accessible to nearly everyone, while also thinking that its 3D rendering could use some improvement.

Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs - Royal Edition has an involving plot with plenty of humour that will keep the players well entertained. It doesn't fully live up to its potential when it comes to the combat system, which is far from accessible, and its loading times are way too long, which maks this a game that will not find its place next to everyone.

Gal Metal features an unconventional gameplay which ends up fitting quite well with a game that has such an unconventional premise. Against it, Gal Metal has a limited repertoire of songs and does not offer a lot of incentives to return to it once finished but this is an original effort which stands out in the growing catalogue of the Nintendo Switch.

The Lost Child is clearly inspired by several popular series from different genres and it does a decent job at that, featuring elements that will be easily identified by the players. Where it does not do so well is on delivering a good performance and capturing the player's attention, as this is a game that has problems with standing out, aggravated by its rather poor presentation, which ends up reinforcing how The Lost Child does not manage to be a compelling and engaging experience.

Shantae Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition is, like its name says, the ultimate edition of Half-Genie Hero, which now makes it to the Nintendo Switch with additional content that provides some new and varied mechanics, even if there is also a lot of recycled content. Octopath Traveler tick all the boxes when it comes to recreate the formula of classic RPGs. Shantae's arrival to the Nintendo Switch does not happen with an original game but rather with a direct port of Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. Nothing here is new other than the HD Rumble feature...but there is absolutely nothing to complain about, the game is as marvelous as it was and its superb visuals, level design and gameplay mechanics represent some of the very best to be found in the Metroidvania style.
