Rivals of Aether don't hide its inspirations, but the end result is a work capable of standing on its own merits. Fun and cohesive, the title of Dan Fornace and his team has the potential to entertain both the most competitive and more casual players who are only looking for an alternative to the Super Smash Bros. rounds.

Hades is a really special title. As we play, the impression we have is that Supergiant Games studied the genre and sought to deliver the best roguelike ever made, minimizing the weaknesses of the genre while providing a unique experience. The cast of characters is charismatic; the art direction, with characteristic animations and a vibrant soundtrack, is exquisite; the casting of voice actors is impeccable... and all this is wrapped in a robust package, with a precise and fun combat system, and progression that respects and rewards the player.

Crusader Kings III is one of those special games, which have the power to captivate the player's attention to the point that makes you lose track of the time. Its mix of great strategy with RPG elements makes this an unmissable title for fans of history or lovers of good plots. Thanks to precise gameplay and fantastic visual and sound presentation, Spinch projects itself as one of the most interesting independent games launched recently. Its natural difficulty and inconstant checkpoints can keep out more casual or impatient players, but fans of the genre and lovers of a good challenge should at least check out this adventure.

Here Be Dragons delivers a differentiated strategy title in the realm of aesthetics and gameplay, with a system that closely resembles what could be seen in a board game. Banner of the Maid deserves a recommendation as one of the best tactical RPGs and independent games on the Nintendo Switch. If you are a fan of SRPGs and are looking for a new experience that lives up to the influences of the genre, this is a title that deserves an opportunity. Megadimension Neptunia VII knows its own audience and wants to please it. It is a pity, therefore, that in the course of this process experience in general is impaired. Disregarding the technical problems of porting it to Switch and the sometimes unnecessary layers of fan service, there is a fun JRPG with a lot of content which, although not belonging to the big echelon of the genre, can surprise enthusiasts.

Star Wars Episode I: Racer is a product of its time. Although its gameplay remains fast and fun even when compared to more current titles, its content and graphic presentation denounce that this is a game of the last century, and the remastering does little to mitigate that fact. How much it will matter, honestly, is a personal matter for each player.
