The Sims 4 Journey to Batuu is a great addition to the library, but it's reaching a point where I'd like to see how far Maxis can push the Sims concept with a new iteration

The Sims 4 Journey to Batuu Game Pack was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I can't wait to see The First Order quests. This was exactly what the franchise needed. I've enjoyed most of the expansions, with Realm of Magic game pack being my favorite. Journey to Batuu blew that one out of the water and has zipped to the number one spot. As someone who loves Disney World, Star Wars, and The Sims, this was a welcome surprise. Who wouldn't want to play with their favorite things in one of their favorite games?

It’s a fun experience for the first bit, but if you’re someone who focuses’ more on builds than completing missions, this may not be the right pack for you. For Star Wars fans, I’m sure you would have a much better appreciation for this DLC pack than I did as it’ll likely scratch that tiny itch you may have for more Star Wars content.

The Sims 4 Star Wars: A Trip to Batuu proves to be a great Game Pack for The Sims 4, a fun themed holiday that offers fans of the franchise a pleasant break in the company of Jedi, Sith and first-rate smugglers. Do or do not. There is no try!

This time the world of the Sims takes us to Batuu, a place created for the fans of the Star Wars saga, but not so well received by the players of the Sims 4.

Journey to Batuu is an enjoyable new game pack for The Sims 4 and a worthwhile glimpse into the Star Wars universe, but it sadly lacks ambition when it comes to doing something new with the property. At times, it feels like a glorified tourist attraction, and the lukewarm narrative doesn't pull you in enough to feel worthwhile. But for hardcore fans, this is definitely a journey worth taking for the price.

As a non-Star Wars fan, this pack introduced me to some of the fun lore and even some characters without being too overwhelming.

If you expect an actual Star Wars experience from Journey to Batuu, you will be left disappointed. It is more like visiting Disneyworld or a theme park: sure, you are surrounded by Star Wars aesthetics but ultimately all of this is just a stage for a small fun holiday for your Sim, complete with activities, outfits and presents.

The novelties introduced in The Sims 4 from Journey to Batuu are an interesting variation on the traditional formula, although the constant feeling is that you're in a theme park dedicated to Star Wars, rather than inside the worlds of real films – and it's a bit of a shame.

Journey to Batuu is by far one of the most interesting expansions to come to The Sims 4; if you’re a Star Wars fan, it’s worth paying a visit to just for the fantastic atmosphere.

The Journey to Batuu expansion for The Sims 4 is basically a holiday trip to Disney Park's Galaxy's Edge area. It boasts a good selection of clothing, building blocks, and accessories, and the Star Wars-themed Batuu area to visit. The expansion is quite limited. Not many buildings can be entered, and any action outside the Batuu area is provided 'choose your adventure style. Most importantly, it proves The Sims is not suitable for story-driven gameplay.

You can see the gameplay pack The Sims 4 Star Wars: the journey to Batuu the basic concept strongly. Basically we send our Sim to the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge amusement park and there he experiences a great stay with fun adventures and events. This is in itself also quite good, because if the classic Sims concept had been transferred to Batuu, there would have been little variety apart from strange neighbors with strange professions and futuristic furniture. Because of the two hostile factions, for which you can do tasks, there is a touch of play value, furthermore you have simply made sure with an enormous number of items that you can take further advantage of this gameplay pack. All in all Batuu is definitely worth a trip and an interesting expansion to The Sims 4, but will probably only work for Sim-loving Star Wars fans.

The missions in The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu game pack might be repetitive and can be tiring, but a Star Wars fan won’t want to miss taking an alien down with a lightsaber or watching their droid hack a high security door.
