Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? Reviews
But you might want to meditate before and after each session. Calm, blue penguin. Calm, blue penguin.
While these are technically two individual games it's appropriate to review them together since they're practically identical in most ways you'd measure...
So all in all, with just buying Prinny 1, you don’t get too much here, just a mediocre, tricky platformer reproduced in a very barebones fashion, and while it has all the content from the original game, that’s not really much of a plus if not a single attempt was made to un-blur the game assets. Come for the funny humor, great challenge and interesting stage designs, and stay if you can tolerate the barebones porting and lackluster visuals in docked mode.
Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? has a very retro feel to me. It’s a game that will be very tough to play through the first time but once you master it’s patterns and gameplay style you can replay this to look for the various secrets or rack up a better score or rating. The hard difficulty will put some off but if you have the time to spare there’s something special to discover in Prinny. Plus it’s not often you play as a demon penguin that explodes. Dood.
