Ynglet Reviews
A colourful world, an emergent soundtrack and tight controls make Ynglet one of the most memorable indie games I've played in some time. On occasion, the level design could be a little confusing, but it was never enough to ruin my experience. From start to finish, Ynglet is an exhilarating adventure based in a stunning world.
As a single-celled animal, your options are limited – and yet this gem of a game is a masterclass in minimalism.
Abstract, beautiful and challenging, Ynglet combines platforming, puzzles, physics, dynamic music and explosions of color to paint a vibrant experience. It is a work of art that knows how to take advantage of simple lines for aesthetics and deep gameplay. In the original release, it was a short game, but the two additional campaigns added make it a much longer and more intriguing journey.

Ynglet is truly a unique game that needs to be played to experience its obscure but entrancing design, which players may not understand at first, but will find themselves drawn in and still playing long after questioning what it was to begin with. Ynglet will take you on a spiritual journey unlike anything else.
Ynglet delights with its adventure focused on sensations. It's nice to control the friendly creature through stages full of floating bubbles, in a smooth progression punctuated by some more complicated parts. The highlight is the surreal and colorful atmosphere with a look that seems to have been drawn with marker pens and a soundtrack that is assembled according to the character's movements. The adventure is not very complex or long, but the duration is correct and compatible with the proposal. In the end, Ynglet is a brief and immersive experience that is well worth it.
