All in all, the Watch Dogs: Legion – Bloodline gives players who were disappointed by the original game a taste of a classic single-player campaign. It’s not as interesting as I would have hoped, but it’s still worth checking out. You have two new playable characters, some new unlockable abilities, gadgets, and a few achievements to keep you busy. If you’re a hardcore fan of the series there’s no question if you should be jumping in.

Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline is a shallow narrative expansion, with a good storyline undermined by a lazy structure and the choice of giving far less importance to London, which was the best element of the original game.

At the end of the day, it’s hard for me to recommend Watch Dogs Bloodlines when I can’t even recommend Legion. All I can say is that if you’ve already purchased Legion, then getting Bloodlines can be worth getting providing that you already like the base game.

Watch Dogs Legion: Bloodline tries to be a love letter to fans of the series by bringing back two iconic characters as the protagonists, but in doing so, it removes the one gameplay mechanic that made Watch Dogs: Legion so memorable. Without characters to study, befriend, and recruit, Bloodline is a more watered-down open-world experience than the base game it's tied to. Worse is the fact that it doesn't expand on the base game at all. With no new regions to explore, activities to engage in, or gear to unlock, it's a pretty barebones package overall.

If you’re a fan of the series then you’ll find Bloodline is a worthwhile addition, but if Legion is your first foray into the Watch Dogs universe then you probably won’t get as much out of it as returning players.

Despite the great premises of the story, in short, it is an old-fashioned additional content: in terms of quantity there is little to complain about, Ubisoft knows how to package products that are worth the asking price and it is no coincidence that even after the end credits you can continue to play freely; but, overall, we have on our hands something that reshuffs what has already been seen in the original title without major heartaches or commitments on production values, if not in the coherent and accurate realization of the two characters dear to the public of the saga.

You get all of the great features of the base game with brand new story content. I think this is a great way to add new content and introduce new characters into the Watch Dogs universe. Ubisoft has really done a great job with Bloodline and it’s a definite must-play for all Watch Dogs fans.
