Five Nights At Freddy's: Security Breach is the newest addition to the fans' favourite indie survival horror series and although it expands its ideas into 3D space marvellously, due to its performance issues it delivers an undercooked pizza experience.

Unlike its traditional series, this game tried its best at changing the entire genre, by introducing a whole new series of the ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’, it also comes with the biggest map size of all, still with plenty of animatronics which run towards you with unique personalities. One particular aspect to look out for, is the fact that the new glamorous looking Freddy is now your companion. Depending on the player’s decisions, there are alternate endings to seek. It’s a little unfortunate that you don’t get an in-game navigation system even with the larger scale of the map, lacking the convenience since its decision to take a jab at a new genre, which, in fact could also be the creative selling point to focus on a larger base of audience at the same time.

Overall, Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is a solid entry in the long-running series that has garnered a cult following throughout the years. It is the best-looking game in the series and really excels at creating a tension-filled atmosphere that will keep you on your toes. Despite its many bugs and glitches, the core gameplay remains enjoyable as long as you can learn to put up with some of its questionable design decisions that can pile up to be a source of frustration while playing the game.

In every moment of playing Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach it’s clear the willingness of the developers to give the saga’s concept the right creative and imaginative depth; unfortunately, an horrendous technical sector collapses much of the gaming experience, while a lack of clarity on narrative intentions and some flaws at the base of the gameplay contribute to make Security Breach weaker than expected in terms of enjoyability.

FNAF: Security Breach is really like pizza. The base is a bad dough, on which, however, lies an excellent garnish. The ideas, atmosphere, and details of this title are great, but unfortunately, they do not excel as they should, due to the poor technical condition and basically no good story.
