Vampire Survivors Reviews
I imagine that Vampire Survivors is going to spawn a legion of imitators and developers trying to capture the same effect but with some variation, and I’ll be staying far, far away from them. This game is amazing, and it’s one of those titles where I don’t know or care about the lore: I just want to get those blue gems and feel the chemical reward of doing something that my brain says is good. Pick it up and play, but be sure to block off an afternoon. Any other plans you have are going to get canceled.
The fun part of Vampire Survivors is the entire package and how it all works. There are no parts of this experience that I wish performed better because it is so cohesive in every aspect.
Minimalist incremental rogue-lite with a simple but effective formula, making Vampire Survivors a perfect sink of hours for very little money.

Vampire Survivors is simple in so many ways. The graphics are basic, with many of the earlier versions’ assets are taken straight from other games and asset packs, but they have a look that reminds players of a beloved series and simply work. Gameplay is literally just moving a character around with some planning along the way. Yet somehow, it’s one of the most addicting games of 2022, the one I most consistently come back to, and one of my favorites of the year. If you have a spare thirty minutes now and then, absolutely check it out.
Vampire Survivors use a few simple concepts to create an addictive experience. Facing hordes of enemies controlling a character that attacks alone can seem tedious, but the fun is precisely in trying to assemble a set of interesting skills to survive. An extensive variety of content makes runs exciting and fun. The focus on uncomplicated systems makes the title accessible, but this is also the biggest problem: the action is sometimes boring and repetitive. However, the constant introduction of novelties and some subtle variations of the formula are enough to make the adventure constantly mesmerizing. In the end, Vampire Survivors is exceptional. Don't be fooled by the minimalist look and mechanics, this title is hard to put down.

Vampire Survivors is an incredible rogue-lite title that uses old-school imagery. Its simple concept will lull you into a false sense of security, and you won't be able to put it down. Word of warning, once you start, you won't be able to stop.
You will find yourself devising new ways to turn this game into an AFK gold farmer, losing sleep over the most effective builds, and chasing every achievement like never before. You have been warned – the grind can and will consume you. You will like it. You will definitely get your money’s worth and then some more.
