Moss: Book 2 is a confident VR sequel that iterates on its predecessor just enough to make it feel new again.

A great sequel taking the series in a more vivid direction, it is well worth pushing past the timidness of the early game.

Moss: Book II builds on the revolutionary platform VR title that the original was, but ultimately keeps the game safe and grounded without letting it get out of hand.

Moss Book II by Polyarc draws too much on familiar tropes to stand out, but further showcases some of VR's most creative levels masked with an immersive fantasy adventure Quest 2 players don't want to miss out on.

A continuation of the charming first game that adds and enhances enough to make it a worthy purchase and with the power of PSVR2 makes it a great controlling and looking version.

Moss: Book II does an excellent job of building on the established formula of the first game while offering a much more diverse game world and a pitch-perfect blend of puzzles, platforming, and combat. However, it's still somewhat short and unsatisfyingly unchallenging.

If you enjoyed Moss, then certainly get Moss: Book II – it’s a true sequel, sticking close but making improvements along the way. If you’ve not played Moss, go and play that, then come back and play Moss: Book II. Just try and play them on a platform with decent tracking.

Moss: Book II is a perfect lesson in the power and limitations of VR. As a technology, VR is still clunky, but clearly, its storytelling potential is only beginning to be realized. In terms of gameplay, Moss: Book II doesn’t always make the best of VR, but its unique perspective lets you form a genuine friendship with its loveable main character. In the end, my bond with Quill was far more satisfying than any flashy game mechanic.

After a very successful first book, we are more than happy to find our little mouse for a new adventure. Keeping the basics that made the first game a success, Moss: Book 2 takes us even further. We quickly see that Polyarc has made the most of PSVR and that it is undoubtedly one of the last good titles on the platform before its future iteration. I hope the studio will continu its great work during Sony's PSVR2 era, because they've proven once again that they're the best at it. It's an absolute must-have for any holder of the virtual reality headset. As long as you still have a PS4 controller if you play on PS5.

Moss: Book 2 continues Quill's story with even more satisfying puzzle-platforming action, but some issues hold it back from being exceptional.

Moss: Book II is a fun, cute adventure that makes use of the Quest 2's impressive hardware while remaining family-friendly and casual enough for younger audiences.‍

Moss: Book 2 is without a doubt a game that deserves to be played, especially if you fell in love with the original. Its staggering beauty is reason enough to dust off your PSVR for one last adventure before the PSVR 2 comes out, even if I wouldn’t blame you for holding out in the hope of a PC VR or Quest release - or some kind of bundle for the launch PSVR 2.

A very recommended game. The gameplay is very well implemented as well as the difficulty which is really polished. The characters that appear on the scene will also exude their own life and personality, making us empathize with them. And, as a final touch, the graphic and sound aspects are excellent.
