Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series Reviews
After more than a decade without games, Klonoa is back in good shape. The new collection isn't a perfect package, but both titles offer a lot of fun. For anyone who is a fan of the franchise or wants to know these charismatic 2.5D platform games in a modern edition, Klonoa: Phantasy Reverie Series is a great choice.

Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series is a brilliant little package for fans and newcomers alike. That said, the latter may have to wade through some of the more basic stuff before they hit on why Klonoa has such a cult following. The graphics and funky physics paint a deceptive picture that the game is "budget" or "cheap", but it's simply a faithful remastering of two titles that are still very much rooted in the late 90s to early 00s. The same titles that have so much heart it would make the Kingdom Hearts crew green with envy. The lack of extras outside of the DLC and the omission of the GBA titles does mean that the title slightly misses the mark, and it isn't the most original title around nowadays, but the cheap price point and overall charm win the day in the end.
Klonoa returns in style, bringing two hidden gems to modern platforms with a fresh coat of paint.
Klonoa provided a nice experience that I enjoyed while playing it, even though it had jumping issues at times and the can be finished fast due to the time of the game, but non the less it was an enjoyable experience

Gamers who have been craving more mascot platformers should definitely give the Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series a shot. It’s a great little time capsule to a period where this was one of the dominant genres in gaming, in a franchise that I feel never got the recognition it truly deserved.
Smooth difficulty climb, endings that will remain in your heart, unique lingual voices were well crafted to provide a distant fantasy feel. The creators devoted their efforts to create original characters and universe and the players can see the traces of their work ethics in which they yearned to become the new role model of platformers. For those hardcore platformer gamers, they should be able to find the two most important features required in platformers. One positive feature is where the support mode in the sequel has been implemented in the first game which allows players to jump in mid-game instead of just backseat gaming.

These are excellent games that deserved and still deserve better. But it’s great to have them and play them again without dragging out a PS2.
In the case of Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series, Bandai Namco is certainly not treating their dream traveler the same way as their other, yellower gaming mascot. Even in the face of two great games, the latest Klonoa remastered collection falls on the whimpering end of a celebratory spectrum. Phantasy Reverie Series hampers a big dream for what should be a triumphant icon
