Critic Reviews for Super UFO Fighter

Super UFO Fighter is a party action game from developer VV-LABO and publisher Phoenixx that lets players duke it out by hoarding gachapons. The mechanics are simple and it can be pretty fun for a while, but it can lose its spark much too quickly after a few rounds.

Super UFO Fighter is an adorable, crane game-like experience that is incredibly addictive and fun to play with others locally or online. Easy to learn and fun to fill your museum's item catalogue with all the capsule treasures you find!

It may be a simple and repetitive game but SUPER UFO FIGHTER is still a ton of fun to play with a chum for as long as it lasts.

This is one of those titles where I can respect the apparent decision to latch on to a core element of gameplay and then stick with it till the bitter end, but Id also point out that it makes for a game you'll grow bored by very quickly most likely...

Super UFO Fighter is a decent pick-up and play concept that will play well for players of all skill levels. The gameplay is solid, flying around in the ships and fighting with fellow players is a hoot. But with little on offer the novelty of the experience wears off incredibly quickly. It just feels like the game could do with a bit more of everything; bigger and varied levels, more players and maybe more modes. Maybe consider purchasing this if you need a quick gaming fix with a friend when you meet at the café. But if you choose to go for this one alone, I would miss your flight.

It's a shame, because there is a cute little game here. It would do quite well in an arcade, but is in severe need of more content to be a worthwhile addition to the Switch's already expansive multiplayer catalog.

Super UFO Fighter is neither super nor a fighter. It’s a perfectly fine game that could entertain for a little bit on your own or with a friend, but a party game this is certainly not, and neither is its difficulty finely tuned enough to feel engrossing on either end of the difficulty spectrum.

There’s very little to criticize about Super UFO Fighter. It’s a game that’s easy to learn and challenging to master. With campaign mode, a versus mode, and a “hot potato” mode, there’s plenty to keep players entertained. While it may seem simple on the surface, Super UFO Fighter is incredibly entertaining and only gets more challenging the longer you play it. If you’re looking for a new party game to play alone or with a friend, I definitely recommend giving this game a shot. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
