While the gameplay isn't hugely dynamic, Burnhouse Lane is soaked in atmosphere and intrigue, as well as being memorably disturbing.

Burnhouse Lane is a small treasure by which Rem Michalski proves himself as true genius once again.

Review in Russian |

Burnhouse Lane is a delivery made for fans of graphic adventures and also who have an attraction for survival horror. We are not facing a horror game to use, but rather has some confrontations against enemies that remind you of that due to the little ammunition or resources you will have.

Burnhouse Lane is a 2D horror adventure title that deals with a lot of serious issues and is full of disturbing visuals. The game feels a bit uneven but is an engaging experience if you are looking for a creepy time.

Burnhouse Lane is a gritty, uncompromising experience, that will resonate with fans of both adventure and horror games. It mingles heavy subject matter with horrifying imagery and a deftly crafted story, culminating to a fever dream you 'll want to see through to the end.

If you’re looking to be creeped out and outright shocked, this will deliver, but it comes with a very fair and accurate warning

Burnhouse Lane does not present great challenges in terms of gameplay, and can be considered an easy game in terms of gameplay in general. However, the topics addressed are difficult to construct in dialogue and, at this point, there is no denying that the work done by the Michalski brothers is sufficiently competent. Unfortunately, technical issues end up affecting the experience, but if the player doesn't need to close the game, it's an easy recommendation for those looking for an excellent interactive story.

Burnhouse Lane is a great little puzzle game to keep you on your toes. Everything can be a clue as to how to solve a puzzle, and the amount of cats is great for someone like me. There are some negatives, but all in all, it’s a great experience with a really good story about depression, despair, and acceptance. As a whole, the positives massively outweigh the negatives.
