Bayonetta 2 Reviews
Like the first chapter's porting, Bayonetta 2 is one of the best action game available on Switch, that despite the lack of new features is capable of offering a hardcore gameplay with a 60fps frame-rate on a hybrid console such as Switch. If you never experienced the game, you should evaluate to buy the retail version of Bayonetta 2, that will give you access to a digital code for the first game.

The nigh endless depth of the combat engine in this game is so full of possibilities and options, it is like staring into the graces of heaven itself. Bayonetta 2 is the nirvana of the character-action game genre and is one of the greatest sequels ever made. It is doubtful that there will be a better game this holiday season. Bayonetta 2 is a Game of the Year contender, which comes extremely recommended.
Bayonetta 2 is an absolute masterpiece that should be experienced even if the character action game genre is not normally your cup of tea. It gleams with creativity and polish in absolutely every department.
Bayonetta 2 remains a niche title that will annoy some and be loved by others. Some of its mechanics have been left untouched from the original game, and, most importantly, it's pretty much the same deal all over again... and yet, this remains one of the finest specimens of hack 'n' slash-y, brawling fun...now on its perfect home: Nintendo Switch.
Bayonetta 2 is a great game on the Wii U that you'll enjoy for many hours, but Bayonetta's stylus controls, multiplayer options, and a number of quotes are disappointing.

Bayonetta 2 for the Switch hasn't disappointed us on any part. Without exaggeration, this is the rawest gameplay you can find on a small device. The game is as good as it is that it's over-the-top! Dante (from Devil May Cry) is better off giving up, as the eyes are on Bayonetta 3.

The fact that there aren’t a lot of changes made or new content in Bayonetta 2 on Switch doesn’t stop it from being one of the finest action titles available on Nintendo’s newest console.
Bayonetta 2 is the high-flying return of everyone's favorite Umbra Witch. Platinum Games pushes to the Wii U to its limit with fast action, magnificent vistas, and huge bosses. The addition of the original Bayonetta just pushes the entire package over the top. If you're a Devil May Cry fan, this is a must-buy.
As with Bayonetta, content concerns may give modest gamers pause, but those who choose to endure will be rewarded with a game that fits squarely among the pantheon of all-time greatest action games.
"Smooth as butter, two steps from Hell."

I am fighting a Lumen Sage inside the stomach of a massive demon stingray named Insidious. Seems odd right? Wrong. This is the world that Bayonetta 2 cultivates. Non-stop action with over the top set-pieces. Inside this world of madness, Bayonetta 2 sets itself apart as one of the greatest action games of all time and the new gold, or should I say platinum, standard for hack and slash.
One of the bests sequels you will ever see, if you have any oportunity to play this amazing game which will make you stay hours playing, please, do it.

Bayonetta is back once again with a decent first appearance on Nintendo Switch that doesn't do anything new compared to the original versions, but that works fine as an appetizer for the upcoming Bayonetta 3 - and as a second chance for everyone who missed the second game on the Nintendo Wii U.

Overall, Bayonetta 2 was a classic for the Wii U and guess what, it’s still a classic for the Nintendo Switch. If you didn’t have the fortune (or misfortune, I guess) of owning a Wii U, this is the perfect chance to catch up with the series. It’s a game that deserves to be played by more people and hopefully will. As far as all-action games go this is definitely top tier and is unlikely to be beaten anytime soon, at least not until Bayonetta 3 is released. If you’re into action games, this is completely essential.
Bayonetta 2 is an all-round improvement on the-fun-but-flawed Bayonetta, which I guess is exactly what you’d want from a sequel. It’s visually sharper and technically smoother. It feels just slightly less seedy to participate in, and it has a more coherent (but still convoluted and far-reaching) story, with basically the same combat experience that was the boon of Bayonetta-the-first. Despite all this, in my heart of hearts, I can only tentatively give it the green light for this, a consumer review. It’s a bit like junk food: enjoyable moment to moment, but after nearly 30 hours of the franchise, I feel bloated and tired, with no desire to dive back in for a second go anytime soon. Maybe with some distance, I’ll feel differently.
Bayonetta 2 remains a phenomenal thrill-ride from start to finish, each new encounter you face more outrageous and epic than the last. The fact that you can now take this experience anywhere with you easily makes this ultimate version of the game. Sure, it may not dramatically alter the formula laid out in the original, but it’s still a bigger and better package overall and easily one of the best examples of its genre. The wait for Bayonetta 3 just got a whole lot tougher.
Bayonetta 2 is the best action adventure game on Switch and in the Top 5 games on the system!
