BOKURA shines brightly in its opening hours, delivering a clever and heartfelt co‑op experience that kept me and Benny talking, comparing perspectives, and enjoying the surprises in how the story unfolds. Its dual‑world design feels fresh and engaging, especially early on. As the adventure continues, a few frustrations start to creep in and slow the momentum, but the journey remains memorable and absolutely worth sharing with someone you enjoy playing alongside.
BOKURA proves that you don't need a large budget to create an excellent co-op game. The combination of clever puzzles, constant communication, and the original way both players receive different information makes this a super interesting co-op experience. The narrative choices, in particular, add something I have rarely encountered in comparable puzzle games. This game is not recommended without a good co-op partner and voice chat. Additionally, it remains a shame that both players require their own copy and an online subscription. That makes purchasing a bit more difficult, but fortunately, the low price makes up for a lot.

While perhaps the story of two childhood friends may read a bit oddly, the smart co-op puzzling play works well enough
BOKURA is an experimental adventure that plays with the two players' agency in its narrative and puzzle solving. Though there are some small issues in the game's physics and some challenges may be a little too frustrating in how they limit the player, here we have an interesting experience worth playing for fans of puzzle resolution and co-op games.
