Critic Reviews for Airhead
Airhead wastes no time trying to force itself around a story, and as such it remains a simple but challenging joy throughout.
The clever puzzles and vivid visuals can only do so much to quell the frustration caused by the unfortunate glitches and bugs I encountered throughout the game. However, if you can push through the myriad of technical hiccups, Airhead is a decent puzzle-platformer that simply needs a bit more tuning under the hood.
Airhead is something akin to the likes of Limbo and INSIDE, but with way less technical finesse. A simple process of jumping might feel somewhat frustrating in Airhead, but luckily the game is focused on puzzle solving.

Airhead from publisher HandyGames and developers Octato and Massive Miniteam is a gorgeous and challenging puzzle platformer that will put your brain to the test, as a good puzzle platformer should. The difficulty at times might frustrate some players, but the juice is certainly worth the mental squeeze.
Airhead is based on an original idea and has some clever puzzles and vivid graphics. Yet these qualities are not enough to redeem a short and forgettable experience. Unfortunately, the puzzles can become quite frustrating due to the bugs and glitches the developers failed to remedy.
Airhead doesn't leave anything to be desired in what it proposes. Although there is no combat, the gameplay delivers other satisfying mechanics. It has interesting puzzles, even if it sometimes hooks the player in solving some more complicated ones. Unfortunately, there are some annoying bugs present, which if resolved will make the game even better.

Airhead is a short and enjoyable puzzle platformer. The puzzles are innovative and varied, with the right amount of complexity to keep you thinking and progressing.

Airhead is a puzzle platformer that wants you to explore and uncover its meticulously laid-out secrets. Sadly, it’s too afraid to destroy even an inch of the mystery it has so meticulously crafted that it just leaves you wandering in the dark. Unfortunately, this drags the whole experience down as, due to how unclear it is on what you’re supposed to do, you don’t have time to appreciate its unique art style, ambient sound design, and interesting platforming mechanics.
