Alan Wake 2: Night Springs Reviews
The Alan Wake 2: Night Springs DLC offers three distinct, hour-long episodes that explore different aspects of the Remedyverse with a mix of horror, humor, and meta-narrative twists. Featuring familiar characters like Jesse Faden and Tim Breaker, along with deep-cut references to Quantum Break and Control, the expansion provides an engaging, self-contained experience that enriches the game’s universe, making it a worthwhile addition for fans.

If we look at the expansion packs released in comparison to what we have before us, Night Springs is nothing special. The most important thing is that the game is short, with all three episodes barely even 2 hours long, and of course it doesn't add anything important to the main story, so it can be said that doing it neither adds anything to the audience nor does not take anything away.

Alan Wake 2’s Night Spring presents an entertaining ~3-hour journey through the lenses of some of the franchise’s most iconic characters. Remedy manages to squeeze in the humour, chaos, and exhilarating gameplay of Alan Wake 2 in these bite-sized episodes, which will tide over any fan until the final expansion this year.
Night Springs is content that fits perfectly with the universe created by Remedy and Alan Wake 2. All three episodes are characterised by deep and charismatic characters that, despite their short longevity, manage to leave a positive impression on the user, thanks also to the superb writing that the Finnish company has accustomed us to by now. Considering the budget price of the Deluxe Edition, we can do no other than recommend the package to all those who loved the latest adventure of the most famous writer in video games.

The Night Springs DLC lets you go all out with the gameplay of Alan Wake 2 while presenting short and stunning narratives.
Night Springs is a fantastic anthology that makes use of Remedy's eclectic collection of characters and locations to create some truly absurd Twilight Zone-esque stories that are good fun for any fan of the studio.
If Night Springs is indicative of the quality that can be expected for Alan Wake 2's future DLC expansions, then the future is undoubtedly bright. While the DLC is a bit short, running for approximately three hours, each episode of the TV show-themed DLC is unique and feels like an entirely separate game. The effort put into Night Springs alone makes it more than worth purchasing Alan Wake 2's twenty-dollar season pass.
Alan Wake II: Night Springs isn't very substantial or long-lasting unless you're a huge fan of Alan Wake II. And the DLC ends with so many unanswered questions. Perhaps the second DLC will answer all these, but for now, unless you're a huge fan of Alan Wake, you won't find it satisfying. So far, I would recommend holding off till the second DLC drops unless you are an absolute Remedy fanatic.
For any fan of Alan Wake 2 and especially those that are invested in the greater Remedy storylines this expansion is a no-brainer. It’s $20 for this and the second release, Lake House, which should hit around October 2024. Do yourself a favor and play this ASAP and with as little info going in as possible. It looks and runs great and adds exciting new branches to the ever-expanding storyline of Remedy’s future titles.
Night Springs is a great yet absurd look at Remedy's connected universe. The expansion allows us to experience a whole range of different emotions and delivers it in the best possible style. I really regret that we only got three episodes, because they were conducted so brilliantly that I just need more!
