SPY x ANYA: Operarion Memories is cute and very well-intentioned. It's a direct and coherent translation of the original material from which it draws, which makes it a good choice for those who were already fans, but difficult to consider it essential, even for that same group. However, the impression it leaves is that SPY x FAMILY, with its premise, may not be an IP that makes its own video game, as everything about it seems in place, but still lacks some shine.

Spy x Anya: Operation Memories is a charming family game directed towards gamers wanting to hang out with the Forgers a little longer. The writing provides a nice dose of character interactions to satisfy fans, and players can take pictures of plenty of adorable scenes. Further, the constant stream of unlockables makes playing the surface-level mini-games tolerable after exhaustion sets in. I found fun in the overall gameloop, and I consider this a mission accomplished as far as anime games are concerned. I hope to see more games based on this series that present creative ways of telling stories through this medium.
SpyXAnya: Operation Memories is a game that falls short of what we expected. Despite being 100% fan service, it feels like they have only copied minigames from other franchises and have lacked innovation. It's too repetitive.

With a simple gameplay and plenty of cute and funny moments, SPY×ANYA: Operation Memories captures a ton of the essence of the original series and delivers a soft and fun experience exclusively targeted to the SPY x FAMILY fans. Despite that, for people who evaluate the price of a game by its duration and content amount, it's worth caution. After all, even though it's fun and efficiently accomplishes its purpose, Operation Memories still is short, hardly dynamic, and has poor variety.

Spy x Anya is an empty game. While it has some nice elements, mainly it's fidelity to the manga, the majority of the game feels poorly crafted. The technical side is simply terrible, and the minigames feel clunky and awkward to play.

Spy x Anya: Operation Memories is a pleasant and laid-back romp for fans of Spy x Family. Though it may wear thin a bit quickly for anyone outside of the fanbase, the varied minigames and breezy story and character interactions will make this a decent time for fans of the series.
