Critic Reviews for Tiny Garden
Tiny Garden is a relaxing puzzle game that perfectly encapsulates the phrase 'Easy to learn, hard to master'. A wonderful combination of farming sim, puzzle game, and light life sim. It's very easy to lose hours planning out the perfect layout to get maximum yield on a particular crop that's necessary to advance.
Cozy experience with a magical toy you can use to build a pocket-sized garde
Tiny Garden provides a relaxing formula where you strategically plant crops and decorate your little clamshell however you wish. So cute! š©āš¾
I adore the Tiny Garden aesthetics, and itās such a charming, cozy little sandbox of a game.
Tiny Garden scratches the itch of nostalgia, while fostering carefree gameplay. And no matter how you play, this palm sized personal garden makes you appreciate the small details.
Tiny Garden is such a comfort game, but it is very much a complete cycle of monotony. The inspiration is great on the surface level, and I did enjoy it for its calming experience, but I needed a bit more to dig into.
Tiny Garden ticks all the boxes for me. Gardening in miniature surroundings, approaching it like a casual game with strategic planning to unlock all plant seeds, types of soil and decoration options. Itās very cute, the decorations are just like in a dollās house, and the added letters tell a good story. Though I like my Steam Deck, Iām always more at home with my Nintendo Switch for handheld gaming. So when I review a game on Steam Deck, I ask myself: would I double-dip if it were released on the Switch? The answer here is a firm yes, so for me, Tiny Garden gets our highest rating.
Iāll be honest the more I played Tiny Garden, the more it won me over. Iāve got lost in trying to collect all the seeds and plant types. Deciding between prioritising buying new seed types or more customisation options. Puzzling together how to get the right soil type in the right place in order to maximise my space. Itās been like a cosy puzzler but without the stress. Ao Norte and Super Rare Originals are currently offering the game at an introductory price of Ā£9.59, and honestly you should be snapping it up. Even for itās full price of Ā£11.99 this is a cosy game that packs a lot in a compact environment. I said it in my preview, but Iām saying it again louder. If you ever wished your Polly Pocket/Mighty Max toys were real, Tiny Garden is the game for you. I award Tiny Garden the Thumb Culture Platinum Award, and Iām off to buy the DLC now too!
