Spongebob SquarePants: Tidal Titans feels like a product rushed out the door with a minimal budget. It’s fun at times, but it also often disappoints. And where's the Polish dubbing which was here before?

SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide is game that is definitely made for its target demographic. The voice lines, while repetitive, brought a smile to my kids’ faces that only SpongeBob can do. The story is silly, and the characters are sillier. For a game like this, that’s all you can ask for when entering children.
Titans of the Tide's best qualities are its focus on playing to its story and the switch mechanics performed by the dynamic duo. The original voices are back, and while a few lines are repeated far too often, the narrative really places the pair in scenarios that bring out the best in the voice cast. Titans of Tide certainly feels like it is borrowing from The Cosmic Shake at almost every step, but it does refine some of those rough edges into one of the best SpongeBob games out there.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide exalts all the expertise that Purple Lamp exhibits in creating platform games, delivering an extremely high dose of fun set in one of the world's most famous IPs!

After taking a few steps back with The Cosmic Shake, Titans of the Tide delivers a buoyant dose of nostalgia with a ghoulishly ghost-tinted spin.
Compared to Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated and The Cosmic Shake, Titans of the Tide shows Purple Lamp’s big leap forward with its heartfelt, dynamic duo-driven platforming and richer levels, though technical issues, missing QoL touches, and Day One DLC hold this otherwise delightful SpongeBob adventure back from reaching a true Best Day Ever.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Giants of the Tides is a colorful, charming, and lovingly crafted adventure that is clearly aimed at a younger audience. You can feel that in many places. Easy puzzles, clear hints, and very accessible gameplay make it ideal for newcomers and children. The delays in the cutscenes and the odd pauses in the dialogues are a bit distracting, but the excellent German voice actors help make up for it. Performance mode is essential, the boss fights are creative, and many small details—like the color-changing controller—show how much heart went into the game. A co-op mode would have been the cherry on top, but it’s unfortunately missing entirely. For adults, it’s more of a relaxed, charming feel-good game. For kids, it’s a great little adventure full of familiar characters. If you like SpongeBob, you’ll get a well-rounded, likable game that isn’t perfect, but definitely fun.
