Critic Reviews for Kill It With Fire! 2

Kill It With Fire 2 may not be as innovative as its predecessor was a few years ago, but it finally unleashes its full chaotic and uncompromising potential, taking the war with the damned spiders to unexpected levels and insane worlds. While playing with others is the best way to enjoy this bizarre adventure, the experience can be rewarding for any player willing to let go of seriousness, overlook interface and physics details, and embrace the unabashed fun of the absurd.

If you really don’t like spiders and all you want to do is squish them in a variety of silly ways in some bizarre locations, you could do a lot worse than Kill it with Fire 2.

Full of possibilities and with a good sense of satisfaction, Kill It With Fire 2 keeps you quite busy, but it doesn’t take many hours before it becomes relatively repetitive.

After a year and a half of early access, Kill It With Fire 2 finally reached the state of a definitive release, it's a sequel that managed to understand all the flaws presented by its predecessor and twist them to deliver a much more robust, interesting, and fluid product in its own right. If the first Kill It With Fire felt like a demo, its sequel is a complete experience. And it's great to see such a clear evolution for a project like this.

Kill It With Fire 2 is a good sequel. It takes the simple fun of the first game—destroying stuff to kill spiders—and turns it into a giant, multi-dimensional, co-op adventure. It’s simple, it’s funny, and it’s deeply satisfying. This game is perfect for anyone who loves destroying virtual property or who needs a highly explosive way to face their fears. It stays true to its chaotic core while giving you an entire universe to wreck. Buy this game, invite a friend, and start burning everything.

I've said it before but the same applies. I was very excited to play this follow-up game to what was kind of an indie gem back in the day. Kill It With Fire 2 went above my expectations with the depth they were able to add. I love the fact the co-op exists because it made for some fun moments with friends. Obviously, fans of the original will want to give this a try, but I would recommend this to a group of friends with no prior experience to this game, as long as you weren't deathly afraid of spiders ... I guess.
