Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord - War Sails adds surprisingly little of real substance. With the Nords in such a weak state in the current build, naval battles amount to little more than pirate-hunting, leaving the whole expansion feeling rather flavorless.

Finally, there's the option to sail the seas. Just watch out for pirates! The new naval story is fun, but short, but it adds variety to the original campaign. The naval battles are great. It's a shame, though, that they can't be inserted into a previously played campaign - you have to start a new one.
