Critic Reviews for Tukoni: Forest Keepers
But it’s packed with good ideas and wholesome interactions. Play Tukoni: Forest Keepers in short sessions, savor the exploration, and maybe get into making tea in the real world.
Tukoni: Forest Keepers is a picture book turned point-and-click adventure. Kids are apt to be drawn to its cute characters and simple story but will need adult assistance due to a lack of a tutorial and clunky controls, while adventure game fans are likely to be disappointed by the depth of the gameplay. Aside from the gorgeous hand-drawn visuals, there is little else to maintain adult engagement.
It’s a shame that Tukoni received so little attention from its developers, because it could have been a truly great game. Aside from its graphics and music, players were left with something rather formulaic, despite the considerable anticipation surrounding it even as an indie title.

Tukoni: Forest Keepers is one of those heartwarming cozy games, not only because of the various herbal teas we’ll find ourselves sipping with friends, but also because of the positive vibes that this world and its inhabitants manage to convey. Let’s pause for a moment and let ourselves be carried away like the leaves in a warm and welcoming forest.
