Wreck Runners

Critic Reviews for Wreck Runners
Wreck Runners is a zany, malleable fest of cooperative goofing off with enough player freedom to make a game about collecting salvage with a gravity gun fun and satisfying. Though it does have its shortcomings, it's hard not to want to dive right back in.
Wreck Runners exists in a world filled with extraction games, but it does a pretty good job of differentiating itself.
Overall, Wreck Runners can be a fun experience here and there. And if you are looking to dive into the “friendslop” genre, especially on console, it’s an okay start. However, don’t go into it expecting a deep story or even specific gameplay mechanics. Because even though the co-op is there, it’s what you and your friends do that makes it count.
While it still has room to grow in enemy variety, item explanation and mission diversity, the core gameplay loop remains strong. The combination of physics-driven teamwork, extraction mechanics and supernatural exploration gives Wreck Runners an identity all its own. If you’ve been looking for the next great cooperative game to enjoy with friends, this is one worth climbing aboard for.
