Colorbound Reviews
Colorbound is a charming and thoughtfully designed puzzle platformer with a heartfelt story at its center. Its color-based mechanics offer plenty of clever challenges, with later levels becoming especially rewarding as you learn to combine different rules. Some puzzles can be tougher than expected, and I would have liked a few more stages, but the hidden llamas, bonus challenges, and image-based puzzles provide extra reasons to keep playing. Beyond its gameplay, the story celebrates South American heritage, family bonds, and the lasting importance of music, giving Anku's journey an emotional quality that makes it memorable. With beautiful pixel art, touching melodies, and satisfying brain teasers, Colorbound is an easy recommendation for puzzle fans looking for something different. Although it is a relatively short game, there is plenty to appreciate along the way, making the journey well worth completing.
Colorbound is a small yet great and colourful journey all about life and its inevitable end. With a gripping soundtrack, tricky puzzles, and just seeing the sheer amount of love on display, this is highly recommended.

Colorbound is a relaxing, low-pressure puzzle game that makes you consider the order of operations to help a kid honor his family.
Colorbound was one of my most anticipated games this season, and it exceeded expectations in just about every domain. Panpipe Studio managed to plumb surprising depth out of its colouring-based platforming. They created a game that is both challenging for serious puzzle fans, but also approachable for gamers who pick this up for its aesthetics or story. Its accessibility features mean that most gamers will be able to reunite the band.
While there’s no question that its story and characters are oozing with charm, and there’s a great deal of warmth to it all around, the rules of the puzzles can be aggravating to get fully acclimated to
Colorbound is a compelling puzzle-platformer that combines intelligent game design with refined art direction. Its creative puzzles and sensitive treatment of the theme of memory stand out. Anyone looking for a game that challenges the mind and strikes an emotional chord will find Colorbound an experience not to be missed.
