Tiles is a unique action-puzzle game that will both convolute your mind and burn your finger tips! It's simple, get from the green tile to the red, whilst clearing the blue tiles in between. This basic gameplay can lead to some very interesting situations though. You must carefully consider the moves you make as you might regret them later; but do it fast because the very ground beneath you is falling! You can also build your own challenges using the fully featured level editor. Every level I created for the game was in fact created in game with the editor. This is where things get really fun, you can publish your creations and share them with the world (ala Mario Maker)! Every player created level has the ability for players to upvote, favorite, and rate the difficulty of the level.

Diminutive in scope but with plenty of content, this could be a welcome change from your daily crossword or sudoku.

Tiles is one of the most mentally satisfying puzzle games to release in a while, at least in terms of the single-player. The multiplayer mimics all the levels from the single-player, to the point where they unlock at the same rate. This lack of variety means playing together will have one person, the one who plays the game more, at a clear advantage. There's a simple fix for that if it bothers you. Don't play the multiplayer. Enjoy the ingenious single-player mode, because it's a fantastic experience in every right.

Tiles is a puzzle game that does everything it set out to do with a little extra flair.

Price-wise you're getting a great deal for the amount of content on offer on Tiles, so if you're looking for a fun puzzle game with simple gameplay mechanics to understand and a nice difficulty curve that won't overwhelm you. As long as you're patient and good with puzzle games, then you're going to have a good time with this one. Something else I wanted to mention is that the game features cross-play with its PC version, so you can play puzzles that have been created by PC players, and the puzzles you create will be playable to those on PC an PS4, which is definitely a nice feature.
