An expansion pack that every simmer must have despite its price, that maybe it's too high.

The Sims 4: Cats and Dog is one of the best expansions yet to come of this generation. These are the most realistic pets we have ever faced and the customization options are infinite. We love Brindleton Bay and the new vet clinic, it's worth the shot!

The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs is the best expansion dedicated to the animals of the whole series. This is a must-buy for all the fans of the game and it gives new life to The Sims 4.

Extensive and loving pet DLC that delights despite fiddly control on PS4 and Xbox One.

More options means more gameplay possibilities for simmers, and we all know how much we love making up stories. With The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs, the missing piece to any household that needed a pet is finally filled. And even if you don't care about that, there's enough in The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs to make this one of the best expansion packs you can get to date.

The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs was the expansion I was most looking forward to, and it did not let me down. With the robust creation tool, the numerous new items, and great ways to play and interact with your pets allows you to make new memories and adds a new layer of depth to the game. With the exception of the veterinary job, this expansion is full of items and great new gameplay potentials, and in my opinion is one of the greatest expansions for The Sims 4.

The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs bravely reintroduce a game mechanic from The Sims 2: the player won't be able to control the pets. This feature might be seen as a step back in the evolution of the franchise but it is actually a good design choice that adds more realism and focuses player attention towards the interaction between the Sims and their beloved little friends, creating a well-crafted simulation experience.

You'll be hard-pressed to find someone who doesn't love hanging out with cute critters, and Cats & Dogs is yet another great addition to a consistently high-performing saga. Also, Akitas are the best.

Overall, I can say that this expansion pack was passionately crafted and thought of. Another job well-done for the devs and creator of this game. Although I am hoping for more new items for the pets in the future patches and updates, there’s no doubt on the incredible amount of personalization for the existing game. The new expansion brings about a lot of new challenges and limitless future discoveries for players. You just can’t get enough of these adorable cats and dogs. With the expansion pack’s replay value and price of $49.90, it deserves a solid 9/10.

Sims 4: Cats and Dogs is a great addition to your Sims experience but is more of a game pack than an expansion. Pet lovers will enjoy the thought poured into pet creation and interaction, but wait for a good sale to purchase.

If your Sims have been longing for a feline or canine companion, their wish has finally been granted! Create just about any existing dog or cat breed, or create your very own unique breed. This expansion brings the most realistic cats and dogs ever in the Sims franchise and should make pet lovers happy.
