Despite a few odd pacing and story issues, Spider-Man is one of the best superhero games ever made.
Insomniac has delivered an excellent game that recognizes and respects the Spider-Man lore from the comics. With an amazing combat system and the best traversal we've ever experienced in the wall crawler's foray into video games, Marvel's Spider-Man is a must-own for any die-hard fan of the character, as well as for any self-respecting PS4 owner.
Hands down MARVEL Spider-Man is one of the BEST games I have played all year. Within moments of swinging out into the streets of New York I was hooked. From there the game took me on a wild ride that I wished would not stop. Loaded with references to other Spider-Man games, the movies, TV show, Cartoons and of course the comics; MARVEL Spider-Man is the ultimate comic book video game if not 2018 Game of the Year… Fight me!!
There’s a lot of heart, a lot of innovation, and a clear feeling that this game wasn’t just created by a talented group of developers, but by people who are truly passionate about Spider-Man.
Everything is well thought out right from the web-slinging to the fighting and character building etc. Even though much looks familiar, it still appears to be more polished and refined.
Marvel's Spider-Man is the best Spider-Man game ever to hit players. There is no doubt that Insomniac Games has provided us with a really solid production in which you can spend several hours and have fun all this time.

Spider-Man is the best of the web-slinger’s video game debuts to date; the visuals are striking, its story engaging, and its gameplay is some of the most fluid anywhere on a modern console. Whilst it does occasionally get tangled in its own ambitious web, it makes up for its minor shortcomings with a large helping of heart and an even larger dose of pure fun.
Marvel's Spider-Man in not only the best Spider-Man ever made, but it's also one of the best super hero titles of all time, and one of the best games of 2018 too. Surfing New York in the shoes of Peter Parker have never been and may never be this good. Engaging and fresh story, wonderful environments, solid gameplay, top-notch visuals, what else would one need to enjoy a game?

After 30+ hours of gameplay, and getting the Platinum Throphy, I can say Marvel's Spider-Man is a spectacular entry for casual and comic fans alike. The great narrative and fun combat, even just swinging through the city, will keep you glued to the screen for hours. However, if you hate repetitive gameplay, Insomniac's title might get boring after a while.

It's not perfect, but Marvel's Spider-Man is the best that a Spider-Man game has ever been, knocking even the long-lauded Spider-Man 2 off its perch. Fast, fluid and webtastically fun, Spider-Man will appeal to Spider-fans and newcomers alike.
For better or worse, this is Peter Parker's alter-ego at his most predictable, so don't expect too many surprises. True to name, Spider-Man is what it is: simple 'n' straight up Spidey, nothing more, nothing less.
With all the freedom it gives you to web-sling through New York City and stick goons to walls, Spider-Man for PS4 is the best Spider-Story I've had the pleasure to experience, and even on its own is a brilliant game.

Insomniac Games did the fan's impossible wish; they've created a game which would easily establish itself as one of the greatest experiences thus far, not only in the 8th generation of gaming but also of all times. Entertainment and fun is the least of the things you'd get by playing and swinging around their version of NY has never been so fun to do. If you plan to buy a game that'd please you for a long amount of time and never become repetitious, Marvel's Spider-Man should be considered as one of your top priorities.

Marvel's Spider-Man is an absolute blast to play from start to finish. This is clearly an incredibly expensive game to make, one that shows an amazing attention to detail and level of polish throughout. it finally seems that Disney has finally started listening to the gaming community: Spider-Man is easily one of the best games of the year. It's a wonderful title that not only works as an amazing video game, but one that also just happens to star your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
