Divinity Original Sin II Definitive Edition is a near perfect RPG. It does everything well, from story, characters, combat, dialog and of course co-op. The refinements also make the game accessible for a much broader audience that need to play this game.

Divinity: Original Sin II on the Switch does a wonderful job of staying true to the original PC and console versions with no major drawbacks, despite the Switch's hardware downgrade, even if the menus can be their own mini-boss.
Divinity: Original Sin II is the best RPG you’re not playing. Unless you have played it, in which case you should definitely play it again. Its commitment to choice, challenging and tactical combat and strong characterisation make it one of the Switch’s best games.
Like any RPG, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is no quick tap and gap gaming experience. This is a game that you need to devote hours upon hour to in order to get the most out of it. There is a wealth of finely crafted content in there; it will draw you in and make you want to continue on. You just need to have the time to be able to do that.
If I could quit my job and spend the next few years playing Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition I would. It is addictive in every aspect. From the customization of your team, to the impressive combat, to the thousands of outcomes in the story, it never gets old.
We are, without a doubt, with one of the best RPG of the year that, finally, comes to us after dinner: a story that is followed with interest, not only in its cinematic scenes, but also in the hundreds of documents that we will find throughout the adventure; a combat system complex, demanding and deep at the same time satisfactory, with a thousand and one variants that will make you squeeze the brawl so as not to lose heart in the battles; an absolute freedom to face your adventure in the way you want: stealth, negotiation, violence ... you forge your own destiny in Rivellion

It’s not an easy game to get into, but Divinity: Original Sin 2’s Definitive Edition rewards patient and dedicated players with a great deal of depth in every regard.
Even with that said, DOS2 is an incredible game. Paying homage to the classics from a different age while at the same time surpassing them in almost every respect. Play. Now.
The sequel to Divinity: Original Sin delivers a great tactical top-down RPG experience that plays phenomenally on a console.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is phenomenal. It strikes a balance few other RPGs have been able to achieve, successfully marrying up accessibility with complexity, while amazingly offering a world full of depth and substance. Undoubtedly, it’s one of the finest RPGs this generation, but it will also go down in history as one of the greatest of all time.
To say Divinity: Original Sin 2 is an outstanding example of the CRPG genre would be underselling. With a story that feels like a best-selling fantasy novel, a combat system that is deep and intuitive and a world that is interconnected in ways the boggle the mind, Original Sin 2 should be a must buy for any RPG fan. It requires dedication and demands your attention, but any sacrifice you make to play the game is well worth it.
