Overall, WWE 2K19 is a decent addition to the franchise because it add more features and fun gameplay modes than ever before. However, there are still some flaws that are present that ruins some of the fun. Still, the game is fun to play if you are a huge WWE fan.

It definitely has its issues, but WWE 2K19 is the best game in the 2K series so far. Packed with content to work through and enjoyable MyCareer and Showcase modes, you'd be remiss not to give it a crack if you're a wrestling fan.

WWE 2K19 is not an incredible game but it's probably the best "WWE 2K" we have ever played. Despite of all of it's technical issues, lacking of proper soundtracks and other minor problem WWE 2K19 is an enjoyable game and a big improvement for the series. If you are a WWE fan, you shouldn't miss WWE 2K19

WWE 2K19 hasn't changed much at its core, but the smaller alterations to the overall package make it a vastly more enjoyable experience to previous instalments. Introducing a proper story to MyCareer gives players an actual reason to play it this year and it's a genuinely engaging experience. The increased depth of the player creation suite means each superstar feels different from the next, while quality of life improvements in Universe will be music to the ears of diehard fans. All of this adds up to make WWE 2K19 the best entry of this long-running series.

WWE2K19 is a installment the franchise never needed , sadly there's very few differences between this one and WWE2K18, however the game would have completely fall without the entertaining online Features and the depth of the career mode

WWE 2K19 manages to remedy at least in part the mistakes of the past, providing the player with a solid and rewarding experience while not being without flaws. If, over the years, this growth were to take hold, we would be able to gradually approach an ever higher quality level and increasingly exciting challenges. And we, with all our heart, hope so.

2K’s latest wrestling game brings back some of the missing fun to the series and thrusts the series back to what fans expect. A definite suggested pick up for all WWE fans.

All in all, WWE2K19 has its ups and downs. I really enjoyed the Showcase mode and wish they had turned the tutorial into this but making objectives for you to complete rather than text pop ups. The customization options are ridiculous in such a good way for wrestlers and the content will surely keep you busy for a long time. The gameplay lacks and is better when you turn the counter limits off and the difficulty down but that is only from my experience. There is a lot here for a wrestling fan and you won’t be disappointed but they definitely need to fix the in-ring experience.

WWE 2K19 struggles to meet expectations. It's a mid-card talent with potential, but is too set in its ways to leave any lasting impact.

The only way 2K and the WWE will listen is if their poor excuse for a video game doesn’t sell. That way we might finally get the Stone Cold Steve Austin level game we deserve, not the Baron Corbin level game we have been getting.

It isn't perfect, but the experience has been worth the investment. WWE 2K19 has successfully pivoted the franchise in a better direction and should be enough to restore hope and faith moving forward.

If you like the WWE 2K series, you probably don't need this review anyway. With everything said and done, WWE 2K18 is still a competent recreation of modern pro wrestling that can provide a fair bit of fun for some time. The Community Creations servers are already filled with surprisingly life-life player created versions of the missing wrestlers, not that that should be an excuse to axe them from the official offering. Now, can someone port Pro Wrestling '86 to the Switch, please?

Building on the good and fixing some of the worst from recent entries, WWE 2K19 finally breaks through and gives us our first legitimately good WWE game on current generation consoles.

WWE 2K19, one of a kind. But WWE 2K19 does not offer new gameplay mechanics this year.

It is safe to say that WWE 2K19 takes the crown from its predecessor by giving another shot to the 2K Showcase and implementing several improvements in gameplay and sound design, and convinces the players to spend more time playing it; and although some issues are still remaining, WWE 2K series has the potential to become one of the best sports series in the coming years.
