Fight of Gods Reviews
Somebody, somewhere, thought we needed an answer to the question of ‘Could Santa take Jesus in a fight?'. We didn't, and we still don't. With such a wealth of fighting games on Nintendo Switch – and with a port of Mortal Kombat 11 on the horizon – a cheap and poorly executed example such as this simply doesn't make the cut. Even without its questionable choice of characters, you're much better off spending your money on one of the many other 2D fighters available on Switch.
A game with a good ideas but there's nothing beyond that, making it one of the worse games reviewed by us on Nintendo Switch.

Fight of Gods was bad on PC and it's still bad on the Switch. It looks horrific on and off the dock, controls terribly and lacks any variety in modes to keep you interested. There are a lot of good fighters already available on Switch, and this has no place among them. It's just a bad game and there's not much more to be said than that. Do yourself a favour and save your pennies. Avoid at all costs.
A cheap fighting game, a little rough on the edges, but quite varied, challenging and fun, good to have a few laughs at fair price.

More than anything else, Fight of Gods feels like a proof of concept.
The idea of this Fight of Gods, despite being controversial, is at least curious, and why not say it, also interesting. But the execution is not up to scratch, the game is rough and not very dynamic, its input is a bit chaotic, its difficulty is unfair, and its content is scarce, both for fighters and game modes, especially these. The premise is simple, but it is lost in execution, a real shame. And finally the technical section does not accompany, we are not going to ask for miracles, but a little more graphic care would have been appreciated.

Fight of Gods was never going to be a contender with the likes of Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat, and it shows in the ropey albeit enjoyable gameplay. However, releasing the game without key modes and features makes Fight of Gods hard to recommend.
