Critic Reviews for Gravity Ghost Deluxe Edition
Gravity Ghost is an almost meditative puzzling experience. The gameplay is simple to understand and puzzles are quick to complete, and with no pressure of failure it's quite relaxing. Some issues with movement could be better but overall if you want a game you just want to relax with then Gravity Ghost is a good choice.
It’s amazing how games can speak right to you and dig out memories you don’t expect them to
A stunning game capable of bringing joy to those who play it, Gravity Ghost provides a phenomenal experience where our eyes and ears beg for more.
Gravity Ghost: Deluxe Edition is a bittersweet game about acceptance, and a relaxing platformer to boot. Also, it has a real good fox.
Gravity Ghost imagines the maelstrom of adolescence further complicated by its protagonist's untimely death. As an elliptic platformer, it's concerned with reaching a neat-and-tidy series of goals. As a narrative experience, it's consumed by normalizing the despondency of its cast. Gravity Ghost's kinetic novelty may have ebbed since its 2015 debut, but its resolution, which seeks idyllic healing from an enormous tragedy, still creates a powerful statement.
Gravity Ghost Deluxe Edition is an art piece that is enjoyable for what it is. Playing it is honestly the weakest part of the whole thing, though it does manage to be fun from time to time. The creative display on work here is a clear winner, even if not every idea feels like it works in the end product. As a whole, this isn't a must-play, but for fans of something a little different, it is a decent jaunt around the universe.
A simple and soothing experience that makes up in charm what it lacks in challenge
