Critic Reviews for Snakeybus
It's the kind of undemanding, uplifting experience many of us could use right now.
Snakeybus will bring a smile to your face, which in this day and age, is a very welcome thing. Good wholesome score-attack arcade driving combined with some hilariously weird but subtle comedy elements, Snakeybus is worth inviting into your home.
While it's got problems, SnakeyBus remains a fun game with one of the more creative ideas I've seen lately.
All in all, Snakeybus is a fine arcade experience. Featuring a unique and fantastically fun take on a classic game, the Switch port is perfect to enjoy in small bursts. Though lacking the multiplayer mayhem of its PC counterpart, there's still enough here to warrant the price of entry.
The soundtrack is mellow like that lo-fi hip hop beats to study to YouTube channel, but it becomes redundant quickly. Levels are a bright spot in their diversity in both the locales and how well each of them has their own sense of verticality/layering of lanes to drive in. If you're looking for a breezy unique twist on a classic game, Snakeybus can provide a few hours of mild humor.
When it comes to arcade-inspired fun, Snakeybus is definitely a fantastic game but it falls a little flat once the novelty wears off.
We are in front of a mixture of buses, Crazy Taxi, and the game of the snake, which could not have been better fit. With a refined game core, we will sting with our friends to reach a greater number of bus cars or to hold as long as possible in each level.

Snakeybus is a rather interesting concept that’s perhaps a bit too simplistic for its own good and becomes very repetitive after awhile.
