Critic Reviews for Minimum
Minimum's style is surprisingly engaging, but the imbalanced combat will have you swinging swords or flinging s-words.
There is a time and a place for decisive tactics aimed solely at victory, though Minimum hopes to draw a line in the sand. Then, it hopes to add a few 90 degree angles and complete a box. Then, it asks you to put a bullet through that box guy's head. It's up to you whether you decide to follow through with that or try the flaming swords.
There's very little Minimum does wrong, and quite honestly I really look forward to convincing a few more of my friends to pick it up so I have more excuses to keep playing.
At the end of the day Minimum is a great beginning for a new blend of MOBA/Arena Shooter, and while its rough spots hold it back from true greatness, I'm looking forward to seeing where it can go from here.
Minimum is an entertaining online shooter that perfectly employs a texture-less and block-filled visual style. With a wide assortment of maps and various items to craft, Minimum is recommended to multiplayer shooter fans who've been looking for their next online addiction.
Minimum is a great shooter that should block out some of your schedule.
Minimum is not going to revolutionize multiplayer shooter design anytime soon, but it manages to offer a unique enough experience, with enough gameplay variety to warrant attention from third-person shooters enthusiasts that want to experience something slightly different.
Levelling up, building weapons, and crafting armour can give each user a unique experience tailored to their play style. All of the game mechanics blend perfectly in the addictive Titan Mode, and promised updates will only further propel its hooking premise. Sadly, unfinished portions of the game hamper the experience with "Coming Soon" featured in too many sections. If the developers can stay committed, they might just have a stellar hit on their hands. Minimum has taken an awkward route to reach "full" release, but it's still not all there. However, what is available forms a solid blueprint for great things to come.
