But this is a novelty at best, and once you’ve squashed a few cardboard cars, you won’t be coming back.

In the beginning, I felt that Concept Destruction was kind of bland, but after unlocking several vehicles and testing them out, I started to realize that each vehicle changes the strategy of play. It is more than a drive-fast-and-smash-your-car-into-another-vehicle style of game. It is certainly worth the asking price of $4.99.

A destruction derby made out of cardboard miniatures makes for a sound concept, but the lack of options and poor AI suck away a lot of its potential.

Nice, original, with good times and fun. They are good things, but they are greatly reduced by the simplicity of the set, its scant content and duration, and some playable themes. Concept Destruction makes you smile, but it doesn't last long, even with its local multiplayer mode.

Speed and turbo will be our best weapons in Concept Destruction. It is a car game in which we will drive cardboard vehicles, of which only one can remain. Compete in championships, individually or in multiplayer on circuits of all kinds. Will you survive the destruction?

Concept Destruction is instantly accessible a neat take on the Destruction Derby set on table tops with cardboard cars. There’s some odd rules that can cause a headache and there’s not a lot of content here. After a few hours, you’ll have seen everything the game has under the hood.

Concept Destruction is a crash and fun title at a nice price to boot. It’s a decent little coffee game which you’re able to share with a friend. With some extra tweaking of the controls and gameplay I could see this game easily competing with some of the big guns like Rocket League. Maybe that will come later. For now I had a lot of fun smashing cars into each other. Let the cardboard fly I say.
